Victor Osimhen

I haven't been following news from the dirty whites, did they get a Modric and/or Kroos replacement while we weren't looking?
They got Silva and are on course to sign Rodri.

So its atelast better than their previous version, while not as good as Modric & Kroos its still good enough.
Time will tell if Silva has any legs left in him, on paper atleast its an upgrade.

Silva is another attacking midfielder/winger, they still don't have anyone that actual plays in midfield itself. Silva won't be the one to collect the ball from the defense and transition it forward to the final third.

I got it. But Silva has played a lot as a CM with Pep.
He's more suited to play it than any other CAM. And it's still better with him as a CM than last year.

I believe he will be better than Valverde, or atleast on par. So he can be a decent backup. Add in Rodri, and you have a better midfield than last year.

Atleti fans with the big media campaign to try and get the club to sign him.

They want both Alvarez and Osimhen.

Now, seriously, who the fuck do they think they are?

It's definitely better for Victor to stay in Gala. He probably has more chances of a domestic trophy, equal chances for a CL title, quality of teammates also not substantially different.

And he would be locked up in Madrid until his contract runs out. So not good idea.

But doubt Atleti even goes for him.

If Ferran is leaving and Alvarez isn’t allowed to leave by Atletico, then we should use the Osimhen money and the money we were going to use to sign Alvarez, to sign Victor Osimhen.

If Osimhen leaves anywhere for less than 100m and we get Alvarez for 140+ or some random ass player, I would be pissed.

So yeah, probably not coming after losing his temper against Villarreal.

Simeone on the other hand must have been mightily impressed.

Looks like he said something to Victor before the altercation? Could be a personal insult or even a racist remark, but that's just speculation. Either way he seems like a hothead, but the goal was a pure center forward goal, intelligent movement right in the pocket between the two defenders.

Footballing wise the absolute best 9 on the market bar none. If he would accept a lower wage and have a therapist work with his behavioural issues, he would be a huge W for our offense. No wonder they adore him in Istanbul.

Yeah, if there was a choice between Alvarez and him, I'd probably take Osimhen. He would add a lot of physicality to our game, which is something we've often lacked.

Reactions: R9.
I'm not saying we shouldn't get him, but him being a hothead and maybe a dumbfuck isn't based solely on this friendly game, but on a much larger sample.
Also, comparing him to Suarez is a crime against football.
