I watched first half of this match for some reason.

He made 1 solid save and something like 3-4 passing errors

I guess Ajax fans are surprised because his reputation is still that of a ball playing keeper. In reality he never was one
 
The way Ter Stegen plays, convinces me that Emil Nielsen could transition to football and instantly be better than him.
 
Lets not promote falsehood.. he is shit keeper but he is arguably the best with feet (ambidextrous too ). Those fuck ups are because he usually trust his feet too much (again.. horrible decision taking is part of his being a shit keeper)

Spot on. Think he was solid with his passing in start of career at Barca, because he knew his limits and didn't overdo the shtick. The more time passed by he got more pompous and arrogant, because was unsubstitutable as we didn't have any proper alternative that we had with Bravo or Cilesen. In the end even Pena looked more solid than this shmuck, when he was injured and Pena is by no means thrust worthy although he had some great performances here and there. You can read in his face that he's arrogant and self entitled shmuck. I have good hunch on these things.
