"Ter-rorist" (fully paid by Barca at Ajax)

This is just sad. He is not fit for professional football anymore

Fucked up 1 disallowed goal and made 2 passing errors that should have led to goal. First half not even over yet

It would take a miracle to get permanent transfer right now. Like I said I'm shocked Ajax took him on loan even with that 10℅ salary. It looks like Michel is a fan of his, but even he is not crazy enough to go for anything more than a loan

Deco has to think of some other ways to get rid of him. Some favour from someone at other club. There is really no other way

Him being voted MOTM is not surprising to me. This is the usual story. He hits the same statue pose and sometimes the ball hits him, people call those insane saves. They are more like horrible shots. Whenever he is truly challenged by a shot, it usually ends in goal

He made like 3 wrong passes to opponents and then he managed to save those shots.

He is really terrible.

He will never admit it but I am convinced that subconsciously he gives the ball away on purpose so he can get a chance to make a save.

Joe Hart used to do the same thing.

I never used to give the ball away much when I was playing out on pitch, but my passing went to shit when it was my turn in goal.

After a while I admitted to myself that I was doing it on purpose because I was bored and needed some 'action'.

It's a psychological problem for sure and I'm mystified as to why nobody has realised that and had him on the psychiatrist's coach. Though it's a fairly common traiit amongst attention seeking personality goalkeepers. Donnarumma is another one, to a lesser extent.

He never found his form again after his back and knee surgeries. He's not the first footballer losing his career over injuries.

Interesting theory. Never thought about it like that.

Only guys fuming here is duo of contrarian retards. Remember Madvolio shitting on much better performance by Joan, because apparently all shots went straight into him. That despite Joan actually anticipating and moving rapidly.
This looser freezes in his swastika pose and gets few lucky blocks to his body, while folding at only real chanca and is hailed hero.

I was going to  but then gave a think about it as used to play in goal at a [shitty] youth level.

You may be onto something, and it probably comes down to concentration, or atleast repetition cycles from training.

A big portion of goalkeeper training is about shot stopping with a goalkeeping coach and and the end of every action you give the ball back to the coach to have another shot. On a subconscious level it may build a repetition to give the ball back to the shooter- or atleast the opposition.

I guess in a match setting without being fully focused you could give it to the opposition in anticipation of the subsequent shot learnt from training.

I guess Klopp made the call up so he doesn't moan in the media how they gave him no opportunity

He made 3 passing errors close to his goal in NL match. Of course going to bench. Also saved on an offside goal

It was said from the beggining Klopp will try out players in these glorified friendlies, probably four different GKs will play.

MATS started the most important game and was basically their MOTM so did nothing to hurt his #1 status for the future.

But keep on hating.

2016

The first time he moaned about competition should have been a clear sign to get rid of him.
Yup, no sane top GK ever "moaned" in the press about not being no 1 for his club.

Thing with GKs is that there is no such thing as competition like with the outfield players. If you have two equally good GKs evidently one would "moan" about it and ask to play or get a transfer. That's why there aren't many situations like Bravo-Stegen or Navas-Donnarumma and when there are it ends with one of them getting sold.

Stegen was brought as no 1 and City wanted him - Lucho had to make a decision. But hey, can't ruin another hate post about Stegen as it's funnier that way. :mou:
