I think Sinner got this one.

Shame Musetti failed to defend so many poikts and kickstarted another Vacherot run.
Also don‘t like Ruud having to retire against FAA and giving him the QF against Sinner. Ruud has to get a 9-12 seed for RG.
 
3rd straight m1000 for Sinner

Would still have Alcanaldo as favorite in a best of 5 rematch tho

Sinner has to be overwhelming favorite now, but would be epic to see Djokovic get #25.
 
Fonseca-Jodar R3 coming up in Madrid in 20 minutes. Pretty damn epic. Not just the 2 best young players after Sinner-Alcaraz but also stingy loud fanbases, meeting in Spain with Jodar being Spanish and Fonseca Brazilian.

Giving me 2021 Paris vibes when Sinner-Alcaraz met in R2.

Also with both as clear favorite in the potential match after and both in the hunt for the RG seeding spots, this match has some pretty big implications. A win in the next match would also set up a juicy QF with Sinner.
 
Alcanaldo out for Wimbledon too now with no return date announced. Has to be Novak's best and probably last chance to get #25. Sinner should breeze through RG unless he gets injured.

So many younger players are picking up injuries.

People focus on the schedule, but at some point we will need to have a conversation on what the cost of this new aggressive playstyle of baseline bashing and big serving with new racquet tech and balls is doing to the bodies of tennis players.
 
Damn brutal. Sinner probably already has more heartbreaking GS losses than Federer and he’s only 24.

Only heat and his body were gonna beat him at RG this year. Don’t like seeing matches being decided by heat/cramps, but his ability to deal with them is abnormally poor.
