I have no idea how helpful this could be as Barcaman said nothing about smileys, but I managed to retrieve most of the old ones, before the forum migrated to xenForo platform. They are stored inside the domain's database, which gives me the thought nothing is lost on the server.

I asked them and they said they don't have a backup. I do have old database on my computer but think it's too glitchy.

There is an overlap between Barca History and Legends and Retied Players Sections. For instance, we have Xavi, Iniesta, Messi, Puyol, and Valverde in Legends and Retied players, while we have Cruyff, Setien, and Cocu in Barca History.

Need to sort that out. I suggest we move Barca legends and retired players to Barca History, while we keep the rest in the other section.

Also missing the Polls section.

The first issue of the resurrected forum. I have this in my alerts, but there are no actual replies to me from any of you guys. Or is this some default setting, where every single thread i posted in will send me message about every other poster making a post in it (which would be bananas)?

Obviously not every single poster, just the next one.

How do you not detect that straight away? It just alerted you once if theres an update to a thread you posted.

It was in the old forum too. You probably just changed it in settings

Go to preferances and you will see option when to receive notifications. Tick only "when someone mentions you in a message" and "when someone replies to your message"

To be honest a group of us decided we are done. I don’t expect all to return.

We are pretty upset to have lost so much history, and with the amount of forum downtime over the years there’s no guarantee that it won’t happen again.

Still I love Barca too much not to return, throught the good and the bad I gotta be there.
