How was @Temptation disrespectful to FC Barcelona?

I don't follow him but he seems a stand up guy and knowledgeable about football in general.

I don't dive deep into the club's specifically related threads, so I don't know about his defaming there...but was it really the case?

More importantly, I don't recall him being uncivilized and calling people with racial slurs. His statements were seldomly directed agianst someone individually but rather factual and hard to counter if you don't know your stuff... Understandably, frustrating, if you can't find a proper line to counter, hence the resentment found in many of you.

At first, I did not much like his posting in Lewandowski thread, when I first came here, due to their nature of being too sweet to my taste but then I thought if someone is sympathetic two levels above me...let them have it.

Yes, I probably ignore the trolls the least out of other Barca fans here. But make no mistake. If we clean the house with the lot of you, it won't affect my posting one bit :lol:

In fact, then I will be free to shit talk CR7 and RM on this forum without the trolls acting like this is a Portuguese/RM forum where those players/individuals deserve more praise than Barca players/legends.

As expected, the International Football section is rising with the start of the World Cup. The Barca players section is slowly dying with Deco's vacation dates. Apart from the WC bump, there are no massive trends, activity looks pretty stable overall.

A quick peek at user activity and interactions:

And, as a contribution to the ongoing debate, the 25 most active users visualised as a graph. Nodes are users, node size is proportional to post count, and links represent direct interactions, quotes and reactions. Links below 30 total interactions are pruned, but the clusters are still easy enough to spot :lol:

A couple of telling points from the data:

- Temptation signed up for the forum once he saw I had registered here (for a while, I thought the forum was gone for good and stopped checking)

- Temptation has the strongest interaction strength/frequency with Fati and Windave (Zanetti). If Rassvet wasn't banned weeks ago, he would be part of this axis too. Looks like the latest member of the troll brigade is Lancey :lol:

- I interact with soul24rage about as much as I interact with Temptation. Makes sense, because I'm probably the most reactive to pro-Barca/pro-Messi posts by soul and also reactive to Temptation's anti-Barca/anti-Messi bile :lol:

And good that we have some data on the trolls circlejerking with liking each other's posts and tagging.

I have one of the least tolerance for the trolls. Frankly, I don't have any issue with you, but you have been pining for them a little too much for my liking and continuing to harass Maradona while he's not even here. Even though I had no issues with Maradona, he can be anger prone/volatile, but at least let the man be here to counter you before going around tagging Tempt in posts with your Gosling emojis and gifs. Not once or twice, but repeatedly.

Also, the discrepancy in level of posting is pretty apparent. Mine mostly picked up around the WC while Temptation was posting his bile for weeks prior....and remember, he joined this forum all of a sudden after I joined (and I didn't re-join for a while). The causal chain is pretty clear. I have like 300 posts here while Temptation had like 1200 or whatever before his ban (and in less time too).
 
This is the last one. The group wrote 12.3% of all posts, but were involved in 24.5% of all interactions.

The trend becomes much stronger from late May / early June onward. In the week of 06-01, they wrote 31% of posts and were involved in 47% of interactions. In the week of 06-08, they wrote 22% of posts and were involved in 42% of interactions. In the final week, they wrote 17% of posts but took part in 39% of interactions.

Also, keep in mind that two of them are not active, and Delancey is not a troll :lol:

Can we create a sub-forum that only the three shitters can watch and post in. Maybe restrict them to that sub-forum or thread only. At least the rest of us can then be spared of their garbage. Most of the time I cannot be bothered posting on this forum because every thread I go into is full of their dogshit interactions.

Since Delancey is so obessed with defending them you might as well put him in there too.

What now? Rassvet is banned, Temptation is currently banned and Fati has been hiding in fear. Or are you talking about someone else?
