I'm gutted that over 1 million posts were lost, with the OG forum being close to turning 20 years old(I believe?). So much history and interesting discussions are now gone. But just like anything else that's something we'll have to live with. On the other hand I thought this forum is gone for good, and other Barca forums/subreddits didnt just feel the same.

Is there a way to make sure the original users will be present? As in making sure that nobody's identity will be stolen.

The users are so unique here, I think we'll know pretty fast if someone impersonates someone else.

I didn't make this decision lightly, otherwise would brought it online earlier.
Sometimes it's best to let go. I still do have it and in some scenario could bring it all back.

Dont think anyone would steal someone's old username but I can always check the ip and investigate.
