nobody, CBs these days are crap - ppl will say Tah and Saliba are the best but they are far away from 100m
the days where you had prime Pique, Puyol, Virgil, Ramos, Boateng or Chiellini are over

Saliba and Gabriel are easily worth 100 mil plus in this market
i will never buy these 2 defenders for 100m, we have to consider offense players were always much more expensive than defenders so even in today market's these guys are not worth the money

tah did well last season and read he had an insane pass accuracy in CL, for Germany he was crap last game but overall he is a good defender, just not 100m worth

Well it certainly looks like this is going to be the next 100mm+ transfer for our club.

If he comes, I’m sure Flick will make him look completely different player than what we have seen in Atletico. Alvarez is a risk worth taking, playstyle and personality checks all the boxes.
Flick won’t have many years left as a coach, he has implied as much. We need to improve our team big time and fast, we owe it to Hansi after couple of seasons of no substantial spending in transfer windows.

We owe no human anything. This mentality and the "we need to win UCL because Real won it" can lead to overspending and disaster. Building the team should take in consideration the debt and the value added. Is Alvarez a goal scoring machine that would improve us by default? No. We afford losing 120 milions and a player that sleeps on his wages? No. It's like betting your house in a casino. It might work or it might get you homeless.
