Ronald Araújo (loaned to Liverpool)

Then he can't be Christian, because the wall is supposed to be part of the Second Temple. Jews love to hump it so much, because their ultimate goal is to build literal physical Third Temple, which is ultimate heresy from Christian point of view and would be the seat of Antichrist. Also jews literally spit on Christians in the streets, when they go on their processions. They're satanists. Going to Yidhell as one is beyond retarded unless it is reclaimed by Christendom.

No minutes for the big lug
Hopefully he gets the message, although it's unlikely. Flick will probably need to keep him on ice until January for him to even start considering leaving, but for that to happen, we need to be extremely lucky with defensive injuries (especially if Christensen could somehow remain fit at least until the New Year it'd be a godsend, cause I think Flick absolutely values him more and prefers him (maybe even Cortes already too), so then Araujo would really have no chance to ever get into the team.

Not temp reposting what was already posted.

He's a good defender in a normal defensive system, his limitation is his passing ability.
Which he won't get better at unless he played a lot, but each time he makes a mistake it's the end of the world.

But I forgot he's still only 26/27. Should probably go to Serie A.

It is more than just his passing.

His positioning is poor and he is too hot headed to make calm decisions.

Has been taken to cleaners a lot when defending deeper and in box in recent seasons.

Just doesnt read game well at all and a step off the pace too often and slow to react when marking in the box.

This idea he would be a good penalty box defender is way off. Have seen it too many times.

Dortmund in CL QF in Flicks first season he was taken to cleaners by their 9 and couldnt defend in box then next round was same when came on v Inter.

Cant pass, poor positioning, poor reader of the game and makes far too many rash decisions.

At his age Barca and other teams have realised he will never learn or adjust so there is very little market for him.

It's such a shame because physically there is hardly a better centre back out there. Super quick, strong, aggressive, passionate. He has a lot of things going for him.

Unfortunately for him, he plays for a manager whose defensive structure relies on his Achilles heel, brains.

If I was the manager of a team who plays predominantly in a traditional low block, I'd be all over signing Ron. :araujo:

He has been shite a lot of times defending deep and in box.

Teams who play like that are not looking at Araujo as some top penalty box defender.

Fucking Vini was beating him to headers in box in Xavis last season.

Dortmund and Inter absolutely ruined him in the box in the CL QF and Semi season before last.

The mistake against PSG and the fans reaction really fucked his confidence and while it wasn't a smart play. I literally saw konate do basically the same thing the next year and stayed on the field.

He just has to stay focus and work on the mental part of his game.

Also stay fit, he's a beast but also too injury prone

Unfortunately he just doesn't have the mental side of the game.

He has the physical attributes to be a great marker and tackler but you can't do that if you don't stay focused on the play.

So he is late, not because he is physically slow, but he realises what's going on too late, he gets dragged out of position too much, he doesn't know where to stand...

The difference between him and Cubarsi in this aspect, for example, despite the age difference, is night and day, Cubarsi reacts immediately and follows every play to the end.

The mistake against PSG was not the beginning of it. He was poor long before that.

It was being discussed before that PSG game how he was seen as a weakness and being targeted by teams. by some of us.

Was about to say the same about not being the same since PSG.

But that's his biggest weakness, his mentality and his mind and that's the hardest thing to fix.

But nobody will ever convince me he wasn't WORLD CLASS in that season we won the league under Xavi, where we played deep after going 1 nil up. Stats will back me up also. Guy was a monster.

He was nowhere near world class in that Xavi season.

Teams missed a ton of chances and MATS was best player in Spain.

Felt like every game near enough teams were all over Barca late and missing sitters.

What is rarely mentioned about his red card vs PSG is that the play originates from him misplacing a 15 yard pass under little pressure.

He cannot pass either and opponents know that and let him receive it.

I don't think anyone with a functional brain can say he was class that season.

That system was made for him.. especially liked when he move to RB vs vini and had him in his pocket.

But I agree the mental game is killing him, especially since the PSG game.

The inter game really isn't on him and I don't think that one affects him as much. Because even the coach game out and said we fucked up as a team.

But I think to this day he has nightmares about the red vs PSG. The mistake vs inter compounds it a bit, but it's the PSG one that he can't get over. The amount of time he most have replayed that in his mind

Can remember specifically saying teams were setting traps for him on this same play and folk denied it as not a big deal.

PSG did it then videos of Lucho specifically telling team to target him came out.

He didnt have Vini in his pocket either to nearly extent some made out that season.

That season Barca still gave up a lot of chances and MATS was the best player.
