Robert Lewandowski

Pini Zahavi : “He [Laporta] told me, 'Tell Robert we love him. He's part of our history, the man who saved Barca.' Do you understand that? 'He saved Barca,' that's exactly what he said. That's why I think that if Lewandowski ever wants to work for Barca, there's a place for him there.”

Symphaty for Lewy when he joined Barca: 📈📈📈

Good to see him do well. Smart that he picked MLS too.
Yes, in the MLS he can easily play for another 2-3 years as a top scorer. Barca offered him one more season, but he would have been more on the bench than on the pitch. It's understandable that he had too much pride to accept such a role. Especially if your career ends soon, you want to enjoy every minute on the pitch.
He made the best choice for himself.

It is interesting that USA team can still find a solid group to consistently compete with Mexico (football crazy) and then it is never a joke in the World Cups. Something that, for example, China, cannot do, even though quantity of people doing the sport, and money, are not the problem.

I think it stems from the youth development and football culture. The two must be present and intertwined.

Lewandowski scores goals for Chicago Fire but he gets on my nerves with his act on the pitch.
Like a Prima Ballerina bitch...always waving his hands at the teammates for them doing something not quite to his liking. This is not Barcelona or Bayern but last season mid table MLS team ffs.
