Madrid hasn't done anything to solve the primary issues. A lot will depend on Mourinho and if he still has it in him to spoil a few wins. After 10 years of continuous failures and embarrassment, it is hard to reasonably expect him to be the decisive factor. But anything is possible, because we all know he used to be a world class manager - though in a different time for football, and he hasn't yet shown that he is able to do the same in this current time. Atleti most certainly won't contest anything, everybody knows this.
 
Watched them a bit vs. Schalke after our game. Vini looks like he will be a massive problem for them. Slow and lazy. Dribbles with his head down into nothing. I really think Mou would have been relieved if they sold him.

But his chin looks nice. So 6/10.

Okay, primary issues. Lets use your term. You don`t consider defense of a primary issue, or you don`t consider 3 defenders brought as quality options? Secondly, i kept reading about LW`s in Madrid`s forward line, while lacking RW and a striker. Club brought RW and a striker. You don`t consider that solving?

The only issue i see is just bringning Silva ( player which i like very much ) for midfield. It seems club feels he is sufficient, considering the market for CMs price / performance ratio is dry. Should we pushed hard for Rodri and splashed that 80M early in the game? Sure, if you could guarantee that he remains injury free and at a high level for 3 seasons, something which he lacked club-level wise recently.

As for Mou. He can crash and burn like Xabi / Arbs. at least there will be fireworks. Or he does the Carlo, and he has the capacity to win - still. So, maybe ease with the hyperboles.

You keep sounding like a father that doesn't want to admit that the kid is yours, by claiming that you ' didn't push hard enough ' or even ' you pulled out early ', for Rodri.

To put in perspective what you are saying:

Madrid was willing to invest less in Rodri than it did in Cucurella, while Laporta maxed out all of the Barca`s credit cards for 70M+ worthy transfer. And Madrid is the one who went Balls Deep?

I mean, are you 10 years old or simply deficient?

I'm sure Barca aren't paying rodri significantly more if more at all than Madrid would and since you only got to personal agreement with the player and never got into a bidding process with City. Odds are Madrid would pay exactly what we did


City have no need to sell and we saw how great Madrid are with negotiations with the diomande deal.

Rodri fucked over all of Madrid with no Vaseline and they don't know what to do with themselves.

The Real Madrid stadium is the ONLY La Liga venue out of 20 venues to be excluded from the new transparency protocol, due to the club's restrictions on broadcasters' connections. At all other venues, referees will speak before and after the game.

Ridiculous.

I think whole La Liga should abandon it if Real did.

It's a good thing in practice.. yes. But it makes zero sense if some clubs practice it and others don't.

This way Madrid can use it only to their advantage because they usually cry about getting robbed in 95℅ of away games.

No they should not. Let them alienate themselves even further. Every such step makes them more hated, which is good for us. They also refuse interviews and cameras in the lockerroom that LaLiga introduced. They also don't participate in the LaLiga affordable away tickets project. Let them continue like this.
 
Real Madrid will absolutely start the season hot again. New toys mean clubs have to mostly adjust again to how they will play.

I expect this to be a very tough year as both clubs are in transition in some ways. Us with no recognizable striker and them with a new coach and likely new style of play
