One thing about Laporta, is that he trusts his employers in those decisions for the most part. It is his strongest area tbh.

He is not for a high pressing side like ours. But maybe if we didn't sign Gordon it would be discussed, who knows
One of the PL clubs should take him. Chelsea or United. Or maybe even Arsenal, they surely lack quality in attack
He is a gamble because he doesn't work off the ball but now his price is low so it's low risk high gain for them. If he clicks he can easily become best forward in the PL

Should join a counter attacking side instead of a high pressing one.
Interestingly, negative managers like Simeone give more off the ball freedom to their star attackers (only one or two players).
He could replace Alvarez at Atleti and cook in a counter attacking system alongside a traditional CF in a pseudo 442 that Simeone seems to prefer.
I definitely rate his natural ability and talent.

Atleti is a good shout. He would make it in La Liga for sure
But I think he wants a little bit more. Atleti is unambitious side just like Milan. In one of the PL clubs he may even win something

I'm sure someone will gamble but I think in his mind he wants to go to a team which is far more of an upgrade to Milan and not just some rich Mid-table EPL team that is willing to spend 50 million or at least around price on him.
But who knows.
