Watching Portugal they don't look too special. As expected to see great stuff in midfield and some pretty combinations but no real quality upfront. Ronaldo with some shit finishing too and it's probably the only quality we thought he had left.

A lot of things probably depends on Leao and if he delivers a top performance. He is the one player in that attack with huge potential and ability to carry an attack if he gives it everything. He's also playing for a summer move so we will see.

Needless to say Martinez will likely be outcoached by most managers of big nations. And their defense is kinda bleak, except Mendes who will also have an attacking role.

Absolutely not. Spain was by far the best team in that tournament. Germany was also definitely the 2nd best

I agree with you they have a good structure and their manager is good and as always they work as a team. But my doubt is quality upfront I reckon a lot depends on Wirtz and Musiala

They are in same category as Portugal when it comes to chances at the tournament imo

Germany was amazing in that EURO and with Spain the best team but last year in Nations league they didnt really impress despite playing at home and if i look at the players they have i doubt its enough to win the WC, they are more on Brazil lvl and one tier under Spain, Portugal, Argentina, France and England. But they will be much better than in last WCs.

And they played at home, won against smaller teams, and was defeated in the first game against first top team.

There is no Kroos or Gundogan this time, Musiala coming from an injury and looks nothing like his former self, and Wirtz coming from an underwhelming season. Neuer is 2 years older and worse than what he was.

Watch out for Angelo Stiller who is a great passer of the ball and very intelligent. Kroos suggested him to RM as his own replacement. One of my favourite players rn.

They have Kimmich, Pavlovic and Wirtz all of whom will be good playmakers/chance creators in their own way.

Germany with Nagelsmann are really strong off the ball.

Their CB partnership is very well balanced with Schlotterbeck and Tah.

Their front line is underwhelming and GK defence is not the best either.

Their midfield and LB is the top level part.

They have a chance but nowhere near a super team.
