Pep Guardiola

If he has to fight to win her back when he is super rich and super famous he is facing a huge uphill battle in getting her to love him in the longer term.

He needs to accept that she has rejected a new contract and it's no point kicking the inevitable can down the road when she will want to leave the club again. Let her leave on a free, through the back door without a proper send off.

If I was him I'd approach to sign an up and coming 20 year old talent from across Europe, preferably on a short term contract, until the next big talent pops up. :staringpep:🍆

Guardiola’s transfer spend compared to highest spenders during his time at Man City.
People mock him for this but when you look at the other guys in that list... Pep is the only one who used that money to achieve something big

Simeone, Conte and Allegri used all that money only to ride the broke gimmick whenever they lose

Conte achieved some of the most impressive things in league football and Pep only won 1 CL with them where Inter were the better side in the final.

Is CL the only competition? He basically turned PL into a farmers league. And that against fierce competition

Conte achieves in league football and always does nothing in Europe. Not something you'd want for those money

Klopp did better in the CL with a fraction of the net spend.............

Klopp isn't even on that list 🐐

The most underrated manager ever

Keeping the best Liverpool of modern times under Klopp down to 1 league title alone was worth the 2 bln. Imagine losing leagues with 97 points by 1 point. That must sting a lot.

Unfair statistic. Much fairer barometer is NET spend. Pep sold far more players for far more money than the other managers, including 90m for Alvarez.

Net spend is around equal I believe, yet Pep achieved as much as all the other managers put together.

I watched the first leg of Inter Barcelona 2010, I have to say I was impressed with the way we were playing before we scored. After we scored, we started giving them too much respect and after they scored the 2nd goal, we were very rattled which led to that blatantly offside 3rd goal by them, which was the goal that determined the tie.

Their counter attacks were so deadly.

Eto'o Milito Snejder Maicon were insane together.

Prime Maicon was a monster.

After finally finishing that game. I have to say, the 2nd half of that game was probably the worst ever half by Guardiola's Barcelona. They did not find any solutions and despite the fact they got rattled by Inter Milan's intensity in the early period of the 2nd half, they still had a few opportunities here and there. Gerard Pique had 2 and he hesitated greatly in both those opportunities. We definitely got robbed from a penalty on Daniel Alves by Wesley Sneijder but at the end of the day, we can only blame ourselves since we lost momentum in the 1st half after scoring the 1st goal and giving them too much respect.
