Don't want to hate but no matter how much you love him gotta be honest and say Dembouz winning consecutive ballon d'ors would basically be a slap in the face for this age of football
 
Sensational performance, you could tell after the 1st goal his tail was up and the goal looked huge to him - everything was going in

I felt like a strong Olise performance in WC would tilt it in his favor but Dembele really shined in a way we have not yet seen from Olise

Still early days in WC and BdO but Ousmane is back in convo to repeat IMHO

Dont think so, him winning is better than cannavaro, Owen and nedved run at least. He had 51 goal contributions and won all trophies in his ballon dor season, Nedved had 25 and Owen had 32.

Honestly he deserves his credit for turning it around, he's way more efficient and clutch, than he was back here, contributing in key games. We probably feel this way cause of how he was here
 
This guy and Yamal are the most talented players around and it's not close.

Guy can play all the PS5 he wants he's still better than the rest of the bums that pass for players these days.

They're still not neymar level talents let alone messi etc but they're the closest thing right now.

I would definitely put Olise, Vini and Mbappé in the same bracket, even though Yamal and Dembélé have more technical flair when they are at their absolute best. All ballers, though.
 
Nowehere near a Ballon d’or level player. Completely carried by PSG and their lethal system and attacking movements. But it is what it is. Used to the best player of the yeaf award before Messi and Ronaldo. Now, the most statistically successful player on the best team of the year.
 
The way he keeps scoring in key games and competitions, he has a legit shout now for Ballon d'Or if they go all the way and win the World Cup cause he has won all key competitions this season, having much influence, and he's not just a bystander for France in this World Cup. Would've added 2 assists to his goal also today
 
Well if France wins the WC there is no doubt he should win. CL + league title + WC and scoring in key games asically equals ballon d'or unless someone had an extraordinary out of this world season, which is not the case right now

There would be a huge PR campaign for Mbappe but I doubt Nasser would watch silently. Dembele would have a lot of support too
