New Members thread:

Hello everyone! šŸ˜

Iā€™m French and an AS Monaco supporter, but also a huge BarƧa fan; the club made a lasting impression on me when I was 14, back when they won the Champions League in 2006.

I finally decided to sign up so I could chat with fellow enthusiasts here from time to time.

Itā€™s a club that really resonated with meā€”thanks to the many great players who have passed through its ranks, its playing philosophy (a style of football that truly speaks to me), and, of course, La Masia, that legendary youth academy that makes the club so fascinating to follow.

Please let me know if the translation is off; Iā€™d also be curious to know where youā€™re all from, just to see how deeply this club connects with people around the world.

Have a great day, everyoneā€”talk soon! šŸ™Œ

Like DennyCrane, I'm back after 10 years haha. I was fairly active during 2014-15 and 2015-16 seasons on old forums (can't remember my username), but then lost interest in football due to personal stuff. Though I admit I started lurking the forums since 2023-24 season, after I began following football again. I should have registered earlier to discuss WC matches, but at least I returned in time for the last three ones.

Since next season of La Liga and big four European leagues will be broadcast on Youtube here in Brazil, (by the same channel who is showing World Cup), it will be much easier to watch Barca matches and socialize with other forum members, especially on weekends.

BTW, I miss the animated "worshipping" emoticon that users posted on players' threads haha. Also missed some memes like "player X declined" or "Messi is saving for <insert irrelevant tournament here>" whenever users felt he wasn't pressing enough lol.

This one :worthy: ?

Welcome back!

BarƧa fan since the late 00's, haven't really been an active follower of the club since the Messi era ended. Not because I moved over to support PSG like some did, but because the club seemed to be heading to a downward spiral and I didn't have time to worry about it with lots of irl stuff going on too. And with that I sort of lost connection with football altogether.

But watching the WC and Spain has brought me back to the game in some ways, and I think I'm ready to offer my support full-time again. We have so many young stars and promising players, the future looks bright.

Visca el BarƧa!

Whats with you and Mara?

Man probably got tired of being targeted all the time.

But a much better name.

Guys, genuine question, why are there so many usernames that start with ā€œjamā€? I feel like I come across a new one every day.

Hi all

Just found the forum so thought I'd sign up to talk all things Barca and football in general, I'm an Aussie who also supports The Newcastle Jets(Australian A-League) and Manchester United, a club I inherited through my Grandfathers love of Bobby Charlton and George Best(so I hope its not held against me haha). Barca first attracted me from watching Ronaldinho back when he was at the club, and after learning about La Masia and the clubs dedication of producing and promoting young players to the first team. I haven't had the right streaming service to watch the club full time outside of the champions league but I"ve signed up now for this season so i look forward to following week in and week out and having some discussion on here also
