Michael Olise

Bayern fans are really insecure, but are too retarded to realize that them cannibalizing the league is the reason why their league have turned into a joke.

Already making excuses?

Like I said no one gives a shit about the Bundesliga and you expect reporters who live on getting engagement to post about your dead ass league? There is not a bigger proof that BuLi is irrelevant than them getting no traction from outsiders.

There's only two stars in that league too with Kane and Olise.
so why is Yamal speaking every 2 minutes and Mendes paying every influencer to prop him up; I mean he won LL the case should be closed

ha ha ha, man you know the saying about glass houses and stones

I dont think its Bayern fans that are insecure he he

You're the one throwing a tantrum on a Barcelona forum. It seem pretty clear that you're the insecure one here buddy. No one here is trying to defend La Liga's honour. It's always discussed here how the quality here have regressed, but at the end of the day it's still a way more popular league with more stars and exciting players with two and at times three teams competing for a title.

Just look at the national teams for reference.

You have the Spanish National Team who are incredible and then you have the German National Team on their third coach in four years with their former legends depressed about their current generation

It's a clear reflection on the quality and popularity of the league.

The rivalry in Germany is so big Dortmund captain signs for Bayern at his peak, then returns, is captain for Dortmund as if nothing happened, and retires with a guard of honor.

Meanwhile in Spain we try to sign a player who is not even from our main rival, but the other Madrid club, and their president makes it his lifetime goal to stop that from happening, triggering a media circus of insults in the process.

That regarding the difference between the competition at the top in La Liga vs Bundesliga.

Without getting into the olise vs yamal debate.

It's always funny whenever Bayern fans or whoever fans talk about Barcelona being insecure

When all they do is talk about us.

The entire world knows who the the club that has defined modern football.

Adeyemi already touched on Bavarian culture and I recall when Pep was rumoured to leave to take the City job (worst kept secret at the time as City were already in Barça-lite blueprint mode for years) and the media & punditry could not conceive of Guardiola even considering leaving them for a state backed club few knew of. They turned on him super quick

Yes, they have a complex about Barça - there's an arrogance wired into the Bavarian club a priori so no point even challenging it. Bayern fans only accepted Barça superiority when Pep did it for them even if ultimately it was Flick who replicated the 6 cups - while Pep's blueprint was the main reason, Hansi added his flavor we are enjoying now

I'm sure even the Hansi love fest in Catalunya leaves a sour taste for many Bavarians

As for Olise, I maintain my previous evaluation of player - he's the best player overall not named Lamine Yamal. Yet I'd still take Raphinha over him, sometimes its also about fit

Olise would be great at our 10. Can easily play with Lamont as Olise is happy to play second fiddle and concede ball time to Diaz.

Maybe Bayern would accept Olmo + a crate of Alcohol free Damm.

Man, this guy. France just has stars everywhere: Doue, Cherki, Barcola, Lucas Da Cunha, Kone etc Without mentioning Mbappe, Dembele, Rabiot. Zidane seems to have fixed something in their midfield with Da Cunha; they're definitely interesting to watch.

If Olise has a season similar to the one he just had, he'll have enough PR to be 1 or 2 in the Ballon d'Or. Definitely has lots of people talking about him now, crazy talent

It's always hard to fit 2 players of that level in one team. Olise would have to compromise a lot, I doubt he would want.

And it really is just an unnecessary signing. Olise will break next transfer record and fuck knows how much is that. When Yamal moves centrally we will need a winger, but just someone who will make the runs and be efficient in front of goal.

What am I reading here, Olise doesn't have a position in this Barcelona come on... do we want to go back to a team that has too many stars and doesn't press hard enough?

Just no. Doesn't work, you can implement just one of Yamal or Olise in a team. The rest have to work damn hard off the ball. We have the better player of the two and cost us 0 euros. 5 years younger also.

I don’t want olise at all. We have a better and young version of him. Maybe it would work if he was right footed but even then I prefer getting goal scorers who run off the ball to take advantage of Lamine and our midfield’s creativity. Just like now with Raphina and Gordon.

He has all the talent in the world, but what I saw of him in the World Cup was a huge worry. The way he nonchalantly accepted France getting spanked by Spain was somewhat alarming.

He didn't seem to have any ' bronca ' at all and seemed content with just being a provider for Mbappe rather than actually scoring himself. As if that was sufficient enough.

Let's face it, personality/mentality wise, he is the attacking version of Jules Kounde. His talent is so egregious that most times it won't matter, except when you need him most.

At 200m that laid back attitude could, and probably should, be a deal breaker.

It's yet another facet of football that our boy Lamine totally blows Olise out of the water in, but often gets overlooked.
