Marcus Rashford

Bring it down to 20m + reasonable wages and I could see a possibility of us making it permanent.

Scored great free kick, have like 5 lost balls with bad decisions, failed to score one on one situation...

he is just so random, something like Ferran

This game was basically a summary of his season: quality goals and assists, followed by some poor decisions and frustrating moves.

All in all, I think he proved his worth as a backup attacker for us, especially with some important goals and assists.. He does have his brainfart moments, but so does everyone else in our attacking line.

Not random at all. That's just who he is. His best attribute is knowing how to strike a ball, that's why he's good at dead ball situations and the occasional rocket goal.

He's shit otherwise and the reason he got rejected by Man Utd and Aston Villa.

False.
As usual not a single clue.

So many questions, how much money we do have, do United wants another loan, should we invest in attack or defense etc...

I think even board does not now much about his future.

Question is if we are limited with money, and that is true, can we get player better player for that wage and clause of 30mil if it is even payed...?

That's exactly Deco's job to figure out.

We will have a very limited ffp margin this summer again, even if we return back to 1:1 and Deco will have to workout a wish- and priority list with Flick. If that's done, he needs to calculate Rashford's annual impact on the ffp. For example if he has a 30m fee and earns 17m according to capalogy, he signs let's assume a 4 year contract, that would make a total cost of 98m. Devided by 4 years of contract, he'd cost the club roughly 25m/y in this imaginary scenario.
Then Deco needs to look for alternatives and decide, if there is a better player available with a similar annual cost or not and how high Rashford is in the priority list to spend that kind of money.

Only then he can decide to keep him or not.

Ideally we keep him on loan again at even lower wages. All I can say is that he exceeded my expectations and I had hoped and believed he would provide an impact at Barça despite his limitations for what we normally demand of wingers. I still believe him to be a brutal but inconsistent talent. He seemed a good kid from afar but a season with Barça I find myself reminded of how biased English narratives are. Marcus has gotten brutalized by their press and I've only seen a model professional who genuinely looked happy, motivated and hustling. Moreover, he was influential

He adds weapons we don't have and adds to the team chemistry. At the right price, absolutely. I like the player a lot

Football aside, despite everything we've heard of him before he arrived, so far his time at this club gave me an impression that he's a good guy

Plus, club will surely play this smart and not consider even 30M but extend the loan at even lower wages. ManYoo have very little leverage other than to eat all of his full and quite high wages that handcuffs them with PSR. The irony, Rashford not only won more trophies than his former teammates but he was also more productive than their very expensive attacking transfers

Leverage, ManYoo want nothing to do with player and vice versa - let them sweat and extend the loan

Nah, lower wage than this season I don't know - let's hope rest of what you write will come true though that sucks they don't have leverage and ww get another loan... than we can think about giving him a contract based in next season when he's free.

The club know he's a mixed bag so they will try and bring the price down substantially but Utd will probably refuse. I think he's a good squad player but I don't see us making the move permanent with the price tag and wages.

I would be fine with another loan with similar terms. 14m salary is ok.

If we have to buy, his buyout has to drop to 20m, and he has to take another paycut of 2-3mil. Only then its a good deal.

He is too expensive to only be a backup at LW, especially when we now know Raphinha cannot play at CAM as some hoped he could.

I would like a versatile attacker as backup so that he can cover both wings. Rashford might be able to do that, in fact Flick might play him more and more at RW now to find out.

To be fair he showed enough to be the backup LW and RW. If we were smart they could bench Raphinha or Yamal at the right times say a 3 matches in 10 days kind of thing and we won't have as much burnout

Even the Madridista cuck ESPN pundits agree he’s not good enough for 30 mill + his current wages. He needs to make some compromise (convince Man Utd to lower it and lower his salary)

Well they would say that, wouldn't they?

He is more than good enough in general for 30 mill. But the reason its a topic of discussion is because we have limited cap space and we have a very limited amount of funds to allocate here and there, so for us specifically it might not be the right move.

However 30 million euros is well below market value for him and would bet United will receive higher offers if he were to return. He can try and force their hand by saying he'll only move here, but they might even consider re-integrating him if Carrick is hired.
