Schlotterbeck for 50-60m(rumored release clause) on a salary of 12-14m gross which would be a bit higher than what he earns at Dortmund right now would be easily achievable for us I think.

I missed that, I just knew he extended recently. That should certainly be achievable and we won’t find a better deal if true.

tbf, If the goal is CL title, then it has historically favoured teams with at least one experienced CB, who is 27+ years of age. Regardless of why is that.
2 CB who are 20 years of age, I don't think it has ever happened in my life time. Probably not two who were both U25 either.

Makes me wonder, Flick probably wants an older CB if we are going to sign one. Age span 25-30.

But based on lack of CB rumours, I think we will be going into the season with Gerard-Pau partnership. Eric, Araujo, Christensen as backups.

Need that Mbappe law in Barcelona to make those free agents less of an FFP burden.

Then can have someone like Vlahovic on a free while getting a top defensive player like Vusky.

But either way, doubt Flick would want to go Vuskavic-Cubarsi in key games.

Will probably be part of the JPVH deal if it happens. Would be a great get for that price, pretty sure TB would sell him for at least double that in two years. Likely Spurs will try to include a high sell on for that reason as well.
