Keep crying little man. It’s over a 30% stake to start with expectations they’ll have controlling share in the near future

Straitjacket peddling Twitter opinions as the gospel

Buddy acting like he's in Bezo's inner circle like he was on Epstein island with the crew

Maybe that's what you meant when you said "Back from vacation" :mou:

It's a minority stake, Straitjacket

That's almost exclusively for investment purposes, rather than to drive decisions.
They will be taking over in a few years. Guaranteed when it's a move on this scale. A 33% stake isn't a joke buddy. These moves typically guarantee something like board/directorial seats. They will absolutely have soft and hard powers. FSG won't keep their 67% to the grave. There's no way they'd just be in it for some lil investment long term.

They will be running the club eventually.

This is how takeovers often work these days. They buy a large minority stake (reportedly more than 30% of the club in this case) and then incrementally purchase the remaining <20% required to have majority ownership over a few years.

Wait we're supposed to be impressed that the English are selling their clubs like a bag of chips to whoever wants a piece of it? It was always funny/schoking to me that fans of such clubs have the audacity to talk to democratic socio club fans.

That's English football for you, my friend.

It's not about hiring the most suited managers for your club, being astute in the transfer market, developing local born young talent or being innovative on the training pitch.

It simply boils down to who can sell his ass the best. Throw all the money at everything and everyone, and rinse and repeat until it inevitably works. Then you can pump your chest and tell the world how superior you are to everyone else.

And if someone , like Barca for example is superior to you WITHOUT selling it's arse, you can just taunt them about how they are ' broke ' or better yet ' cheating ' somehow.

And that's why English football's got no soul and has lost any authenticity it once had.

Of course you have to be part of the Big 6 Cartel as well ( totally not cheating or corrupt like Argentina of course ) , otherwise no bueno ( Aston Villa and Newcastle ) :spank:

All true, this was the most obvious in our "levers" era where all of them were outraged with what we were doing. In reality we were selling of small parts of a few of our assets while selling 100% of their clubs is in some way ok.

The Indian gang already have the reputation of running QPR since 2008. Quite unsuccessfully I might add as they promised EPL domination by 2015.

Fenway group are proven and have a long history of running American sports in Boston.

Assume Bezos and the Indians take over in few years - they have zero to bad management history of a sports club. And as we know from Man City's UAE funding and the investigation - personal wealth doesn't matter, unless there are those infamous walkaround sponsorship deals.
