Missed a penalty today. Seems his mind is logically not at football like before. Maybe he should take some time off. I hope his fathers death doesnt push him towards retirement like it did with say khabib.
I wish he wins something to dedicate to his father but time will tell.
 
Given that Messi holds several active sponsorship contracts worth millions of dollars, i don't see him retiring anytime soon.

Let’s not forget that people often thought "this guy is finished", "he can't do it without Xavi or Iniesta", " he's a failure with Argentina team" etc etc only for him to come back even stronger.

Who knows, perhaps he will become even more determined and want to make his father who will be "watching" him from above even prouder.
 
Messi has another two and a half seasons in Miami.

Poor Cristiano will be praying for an injury so his record doesn't get broken.
