Anybody watching PSG game?

They are struggling. Looked good at the start then Lens scored and they seem shaken. Think they will equalize and it goes to pens.

I'm imagining Ferran in this team with all these crazy combinations. The signing still looks surreal.

Winning a treble of doubles is almost any impossible task. Let's see if they can pull it off this season.

Surely motivation will start to take a hit?.
 
Meh this is usual QSG

Playing their B team, they suck in the league. But they know there are no rivals so eventually they will win

They will lock in for the 5-6 important games they will play this season. Best team ever...

I'll take your word for it. I dont touch them and Man City. It's like a spoilt kid who never works and gets a 911 turbo S as an inheritance while we have to work 24/7 for it.

They have had some gorgeous shirts though, I just have no interest in it.

Imagine if they 3-peat. Lol.
 
Last time they started so poorly (3 points first 3 games) Lille won the league.

Hopefully history repeats.

They are well off it so far and should have lost 2 of the three games, with the first one being an option too.

Also lost the SuperCup to Lens so that's 4 bad games in a row.

Lucho probably turns it around, and if they don't, then they will sign big in Winter to try and turn things around.

Have to say, they should have maintained the Suzuki deal. Their keeper went full Stegen with that dive and cost them a draw. But then, maybe Lucho likes the memories.

Yeah people forget who we are dealing with here

If Lucho doesn't solve it tactically Nasser will just do the job in January.

Spend absurd money on a bunch of extremely talented players.. they are more hungry than this gen, a few of them will work.

If it doesn't lead them to trophies... repeat same next window, and next, and next and next. Until you hit.

Then get praised by everyonr for your extraordinary sporting department.
 
I only recently learnt that Felipe Luis is managing AS Monaco. He was one of my favorite Atléti player of the last decade. Along with Miranda-Godin-JG, they made for a formidable defence for Atléti. His managerial stint started off with multiple titles with Flamengo. And I wouldn't be surprised if he does well in Ligue 1.

Never heard a Brazilian football person (past or present) articulate his ideas in English with this confidence. He has even some French journalists engaging with him in English. :grin:
