If I'd known today's sport journalism would be like this, I'd definitely become one myself. Just recycle the same unrealistic garbage rumours every window and get paid for it. There is no more need to write long and interesting articles that require actually work. You get more klicks and more revenue by feeding the muppets the same attention grabbing headlines.

No, but here you can apply logic to the situation. We are out of Camp Nou for a time next year --> lesser income/budget forecast --> lesser FFP

Dont need to believe mate. We all have seen the last 3 years and how much we can spend and also the registration shenanigans.

FFP is also determined by future revenue, so if we are not in Camp Nou while paying to play at Montjuïc, it's safe to say we won't be back in FFP 1:1 since the last 2 years, going back to Camp Nou was the hurdle to being in 1:1.

No playing in Camo Nou > No 1:1 > Registration issue > Most likely no big signings.

Another piece of evidence of this is that we are trying to get a backup GK this season. We all know Remiro (he was linked with us) will be free next season, but we are going to spend 3m on a GK from Fenerbahce. It is clearly evident that we don't want to leave this uncertainty for next season.

I talked about it in another thread. If you apply some logic, what the journalists are saying doesn’t really make much sense.

Better be not true that Barca is after him.

Otherwise he'll be some sort of our Roque 2.0 imo, a much more expensive one.
 
He's such an unremarcable striker being 29 tomorrow, measuring only 174cm, having a market value of 85m.

He's also bascially not particularly good at nothing on the pitch.

This would be such a moronic/panic buy from Deco.

Yea, he's not remarkable at anything in particular. Numbers are decent, but he plays for one of the best teams in a generally weak, broke league. Not a bad player, but the odds of success aren't quite as convincing as other options would have been. I wasn't convinced when he was younger, definitely not convinced at 29.

Not a big fan of him but he did have more G/A that Julian last season.
 
Both Midgets. And if I have to choose between midgets, I would take higher scoring, National team starter any day of the week.
 
I also don't want him here, he's a decent 9 but not good enough for us + dude is 29 and they'll ask some stupid fee.

What did you say? Would really like to hear how playing half a season or more at Montjuic won't affect our FFP if we know it did heavily all the years we were there. It makes a lot of sense that we won't be in 1:1, in my eyes it's a guarantee, can't see any way around it except new levers which shouldn't happen. Make the signings now and let Flick cook in peace for 2 years.

How do you get the conclusion that spending half the season at Montjuic and half the season at a full Camp Nou is worse than spending the entire season at Camp Nou with 60,000 seats?
