Think they played well trying to being ball forward from the back. Obvious lack of quality hinders them but positive stuff from them nonetheless.
And yeah, another match where we struggle against them. Can't be a coincidence anymore.
We played poor in first half as well.

The problem with attack without Lamine is that everybody keeps pussyfooting and refuse to take responsibility to make something happen. Once Pedri decided to actually send the ball forward, we scored magnificent goal that was illegally cancelled. There's severe lack of chutzpah in this team aside Yamal and sometimes Fermin.

This Gavi at AML needs to stop.
He is far too slow and not good enough technically in final third to play it.
Will most likely have to play beside Pedri v Getafe.

Wasn't his best showing as false winger but I wouldn't drop it altogether. Rashford time here seems over so better for us to play Gavi or Fermin there.

Gavi has never been good there and tonight he looked totally lost.
Could do nothing but pass ball backwards as cant take anyone on and has poor awareness to make final pass in those areas.
Rashford far better there even if not great and leaving.

Their pressing indeed has lot of headless chicken elements to it. Partly due to Flick failing to organize no doubt, but also think some of our guys have really shit spatial IQ and don't know when and where to apply pressure and instead just bullrush the ball carrier like kids in the yard. Lot's of free space left behind and passing lanes open, while spending lot of CO2 storming up and down the field.

Barca have many players that press like headless chickens and waste energy/break structure.
Gavi was at it all half again last night. He was appearing just about anywhere shouldnt be and then struggled to get on ball also.
It is on the coaches to sort that but the fans also lap it up too often in stadium as dont really understand what they are watching and some players feed off it.
