The first game after the European elimination, we must keep our heads high as we can try to break 2 records, the most home wins in a 38 game LaLiga season and tie the 100 point mark as well.

We must stay positive and hopefully Hansi and the boys deliver a great performance on Wednesday night.

Seen some posts from big Barca accounts on twitter that we have nothing left to play for.

Taking La Liga title for granted after dooming few years ago and claiming Barca would fall into obscurity. Pathetic.

Think we are very blessed to be in this position and should enjoy the remainder of the season with more good football hopefully.

Inevitably, season will come when Barca will not rule La Liga like we do now.

Fuck them baljeets, their opinion is worthless anyways.

Just look on Barcelona's streets during the celebration to see, what the league titles means for the fans. Especially a back to back title against a second year trophyless Madrid, that spent big time last summer and didn't defend a LL title since 2 decades. This Laliga is worth even more than the last once I'd argue.

First of the last 7 games. Not on weekend due to CdR final.

Celta are fighting for a European spot, but has lost last 2 games with 3-0 result. Lost total of 3 out of last 4, and has 2 less days of rest as they play Freiburg tomorrow.

We don't have less rest for the rest of the year. So while we have a fairly tough schedule, we should do well in the next few games and take the title, with those 9 points difference.

People don’t realise that Barcelona, before Cruyff, won a total of 2 LaLiga titles in 30 years (1973-74 and 1984-85).

Can you believe that?
That’s like 2 entire generations that never saw Barcelona win the LaLiga title, but thankfully, due to the change that Cruyff brought, we started to dominate LaLiga and won 18 (soon to be 19) LaLiga titles since 1990, 18(19)/36.

People take La Liga for granted because it's become less competitive at the very top over time. The financial distribution of TV revenue killed some big clubs. The TV revenue situation has improved, but the damage was done. Between 1996-2004, Altético, Deportivo and Valencia won 4 titles between them. Until Simeone re-established Atlético in the 2010's, it was basically just Barcelona and Real acting as bigger version of Celtic and Rangers. La Liga needs clubs like Valencia and Sevilla to recover some of their former glory. Villarreal have stepped up as a club this century, but they're a bit like Leverkusen. Don't win much.

Another reason why La Liga is taken for granted is because that by 2015, it looked like Barça were starting to close in on Real. It was 5 European Cups to their 10. Fast forward 11 years to today, and it's now 5 vs 15. That's a huge swing. I think a lot of Barça fans would take 3 La Liga titles out of the next 10 if you guaranteed them 3-4 CL wins over the next decade. The CL is the elusive prize at the moment.

Good 8-day rest to recharge and work towards securing La Liga at the Camp Nou against Madrid. With a memorable performance, would be a great end to the season that would elevate an 8/10 campaign to a 8.7/10 due to the fashion, venue and timing of the victory.

We dont take it for granted. Its PL fans and the rest spreading the narrative that la liga is meaning cause madrid legend like Bale wanna say they never cared about the league only CL

To exclude themselves for their shambolic league record

Ligue 1, La Liga and, in particular, The Bundesliga are generally boring title races most seasons.

The PL and Serie A are the most competitive in terms of the CL places and title challenges. Serie A is actually the most interesting top 5 league in recent times. But man, they are shit in Europe.

One team dominating a league like Bayern is no good. It's actually a good thing that City dropped off a bit the past 2 seasons. They were starting to dominate. And somehow might win it again this season if Arsenal continue their form.

La liga is far more competitive than PL. This might be the first one in a long time thats almost been decided with 7 days to go.
PL is uslaly done by christmas.

City won the league on the final day almost 2 years ago. They also win it on the final day 4 years ago. This season would make it 3 out of 5 titles going down to the wire.

The competitiveness isn't just the title race. The top 4/5 teams change nearly every season. In La Liga, it's generally 1st to 3rd secured by Barcelona, Real and Atlético. Sevilla dropping off has made the 4th place race more varied.

You came back with one example. Last year we already knew livetpool was gonna win the title start of the season.
There's no competition there.

And their top 4 keeps changing cause teams turn into absolute shit, not cause of competition.

At least they turn into absolute shit because of bad choices in the market or with picking managers. Man Utd, Chelsea, Tottenham are rich clubs, but poorly run.
Sevilla, Valencia, Villareal etc are just poor. You have Barca, Madrid and Atletico, who don't have a worry in the world because they are guaranteed CL football every season.

Lmao. 3 out of 5 seasons. Read.

You sound like someone who got picked on in school by PL fans. It's okay, bro. They can't hurt you now. Therapy would help.
