How much we can rest will also depend on the Blancos - Girona game tomorrow. If they manage to lose more points, we can also play with the second team. If not, we should take it serious enough. LaLiga is the most honest title you can achieve over the season and with a 7 points lead and 8 games to go, we need to wrap it up nicely.

Nice for Atletico to play for nothing and can rest this weekend but we have to win.
Guess some rotations are needed as some players looked fatigued (Pedri?) but there arent a lot of options with Bernal, Rapha, Frenkie out.

Guess Balde, Casado and Ferran could make a start.

Pretty sure they would gladly change the positions with us and rather be on top of LaLiga fighting for the title. They won't win the CL anyways, no matter how much they rest their players. Semis will stop them, as Arsenal isn't as stupid as us.

Yeah Pedri should definitely get a rest. Even with no injury, his discomfort was clearly a warning. I'd rest Cancelo, Martin, Lamine, Olmo and Lewandowski as well. Fermin didn't play much last game, Roony gets a chance to show himself and Ferran another opportunity to score after 3 months. Something like:

We can always sub them second half, if we need them.

Real just dropped two points. Flick should seriously consider rotating heavily for this match. Play Roony, Xavi Espart, Casado, Ferret. Heck throw in Szczęsny too

I beg to differ. It's still a derby and people paying hundreds of Euros to attend. I hope we'll never be Real Madrid, dispespecting our own fans by not caring about games to maximalize of winning somewhere else. No matter who plays today, they should burn to defeat Asspanyol. A defeat against them is always painful.

Espanyol are open side and Barca still have man for man by far the better side.
 
Frenkie received the green light and is included in today's squad. Let's see how many minutes Flick will give him.
 
Full rotation for me after Madrid result, but don't use this as an excuse to tolerate a shite performance. This is still a must win. Use games like these for squad selection choices from last season.
