He can save himself for the Nations League. To think we have De Jong coming back at some point of the season. Midfield depth is ridiculous
Elche were crap and we have 6 games in a row vs Athletic without conceding. We'll see.Could it be, that even with shaky defense at times we will have a crazy low amount of goals conceded this season?
For sure. But seeing how similar both RM and Barca pre-seasons were, you could assume that's the optimal way to prepare for the season for a top team, as if it's obvious. Both teams chose not to face a single top opponent. One would think you'd want at least one game against a good side, but no.Last summer we were all optimistic about the physical state of the team because we were the only top club without CWC and we'll get so much rest and a whole preseason so the team should start fresh and great at the start of the season but they were bad, slow and looked tired.
This summer most of the team played WC until the end, we had a shit preseason only with kids and without matches and we look ready, fast, hungry and in great physical condition and form.
Funny how football works sometimes, just proves we have no clue.
