He'll rack up the goals now and then go invisible when Madrid is fighting for the trophies
 
Mbappe is like Ronaldo. Gets put in shooting position like 10x a match, easy to farm goals like that.

They had excellent games last season as well.

I haven't noticed many changes so far. Midfield still looks hopeless, so does their defence. I haven't seen Bernardo once in two games now. He's the invisible man. But they have a shit ton of individual talent, eg turtle and Bellingham. So naturally they will have some great moments. Vini still the odd man out. Should have sold him and completely build around them.
 
I think it looks different from xabi alonso.

Under xabi they were pressing high like madmen to win ball but losing structure in process.

Tbf i haven’t seen first 40 min of this game.

But I expect their mf to look better this season.

We will see less camavinga which will be a positive for them. Same with tchouameni.
 
Dumfries, Saddam Huijsen, Konate and Carreras is almost as bad a back 4 as ours.

Difference is, our midfield and attack absolutely destroys their in terms of teamwork, chemistry and most importantly of all the squad's TOGETHERNESS AND UNITY.

Their players play for themselves. Our players play for each other. And it is great Flick is stamping out any ideas otherwise.

It's ours to lose.

Last season Alonso also started with 6 consecutive wins only to fall apart later. We had with Hansi in both seasons periods where we looked like to win or to lose everything. A season is long with many ups and downs. When the legs become heavy in October/November, we'll see who has enough focus to keep winning. Their honeymoon phase is meaningless, as it was last season.

I don't say it won't happen, but it can easily go the other way as well.

Their honeymoon will end in the Champions League. In the league, it will be much harder for someone to do that because they have too much individual quality, which will get them through against league teams. The difference is simply huge. I hope I’m wrong and that it turns out like last season.
And just to emphasize, I don’t think they’ll win the league.
 
Bernardo Silva and Dumphries looked very meh.

Vini pretty poor too for most of the game.

Güler decent.

Carry job for Jude and Kylian this season.
 
Athletic have been awful so far this season.

Coach needs to get his shit together, they also finished poorly last season
