If Madrid wins tonight, they need to win vs. Barca next round not to lose La Liga in El Clasico?
 
I think our chances in El Clasico are not very high. The football we have seen in past few games with Lamine and Rapha both absent, has been some absolutely dreadful stuff. And the team morale is not that high knowing this season is basically over.

Only thing that could go wrong there is we get a beating with some uncomfortable result. It's possible because of our backline which is risky and will get especially exposed now that there is no threat upfront and no pressing. But Madrid is pretty shit themselves so maybe they don't have it in them

nonsense. we have frenkie back, fermin doing well, cancelo instead of balde, garcia rested. We still have joan garcia on goal.

Real is missing players as well.

Remember we only need to draw.

Marcelino out of Villarreal he did a good job for them in the league. Only issues was their performances in the CL but I doubt that's why he's leaving.
 
Had disagreements with the board apparently. He's a bit like a Spanish Conte and can't stay long anywhere despite having good results. Seen him linked to Crystal Palace. Would be interesting to see him outside of La Liga. Didn't really worked out well at Marseille but tbf no coach can really work there in that crazy environment.

Also, it was reported a few weeks ago he'll be replaced by Inigo Perez. Really intrigued to see him at a bigger club.
 
Yes, I believe Iñigo Perez at Villarreal will be very interesting to watch develop - he has been impressive with a limited budget with Rayo that plays hard
