I don’t think it’s fake.

Zidane could just announce Mbappe will be rested for upcoming games. It’s still nations league after all and France is stacked with other attackers. I feel like if Mbappe was given permission to fake injury, could actually disrupt locker room.

If they wanted to fake injury Mbappe could just be taken off and zidane could say something like “Mbappe felt a discomfort, so we have taken precaution”.

Didn’t Mbappe get like minorly injured in game against Elche was it? Maybe this injury was due.

More likely Mbappe just turned injury prone a bit more. Has been injured on more occasions past 1.5 season no?
 
Fake or not, if Mbappe is missing Mourinho can park a much better bus, he'll have the perfect excuse to serve their fans and they'll eat it up.

Tbf, Mbappe been one to score consistently against us. Maybe better for us he misses out on clasico.

The games against mid and low table teams however…could see real get a smoother victory there.

We beat Madrid without Mbappe rather easily. Like last season. He is their only real danger forward vs our high line.
 
This Real without Mbappe lol, an injury on Bellingham and they'll miss out on a CL spot with the "Special" one at the helm :lol:

Vini doesn't have it anymore, he has been shit even in their friendlies without Mbappe, and in the Brazil game against Australia.

They still have Arda Guler (it was more of him against France); that kid is amazing. Bellingham, Diomande in attack to work with. Espi, Diaz, and Endrick too; Mourinho should be able to use the squad without Mbappe; lots of talent to pick from
 
According to the latest information they are waiting for the swelling to subside before he undergoes an MRI.

It's rumored that he'll be out for 3 to 8 weeks
 
It's kinda funny how football works now.

When this guy came onto the scene, he was a straight-up menace with his pace and movement but now? He looks so insanely limited in comparison to what he was.

Spends his time mostly walking around the LW/9 spot and hoping for a ball or fishing for penalties. He doesn't even use his pace most of the time anymore which was one of his main weapons for years.

Makes it easier to defend against now.
