?? - Karim Adeyemi

I would trade Raphinha for those 3….

I like Raphinha but he wasn’t healthy when we needed him last season. He’s currently injured again. He will be 30 in December and Brazilian. Very few Brazilian attackers remain elite past 30.
This is the way. Harsh, but true.

I think this will be his last season with us in any case. We can still get great money from Saudi (at least 60-80M) for Raphinha even next year at 30, I really think so. Yes, we do lose 20-30M (and a 100M offer that we should definitely demand for him, if we sell him now), if we keep him for this season, but we might need him to show Gordon and Adeyemi the ropes this season, leading by example as captain as well, so it'd be worth that drop in price anyway, especially if it gives us such a world class depth in the attacking areas for this season, so we can really tackle both La Liga and CL.

22+7? damn that's worth it IMO.

Like I alluded to previously when it was speculated that we wouldn’t go more than 30M it was going to be a genius move - even if it doesn’t pan out at Barça we’ll still recoup most of that in another transfer down the road…OTOH, he could be a big asset to count on going forward at a fraction of of a price

Roony, Tak for the time - adios

Im less worried about him being 30 (excellent age still.. actually his prime ) than about the injury infestation he has now.

6M per year, think that salary is similar what he got at Dortmund
That was his gross salary. No way we're paying him 3m/net. It'll be improved, but I don't think 6m net as some report. That would put him on Gavi level. At least his basis salary.

They have no wingers. If he picks up his form as likely will in Barça, he's probably getting a call up. Why the emoji
Because this is something that often happens. A player isn't called up by a NT manager. Then, suddenly, another world class manager recognizes his ability and gives him a shot, and then, only then, does the NT manager call him up.

A bit like when women see you with another woman or with a ring on your finger.

"I'll have what she's having"

Rashford and Braithwaite are two examples.

Just realized he is still just 24 as well... feels like he was around for ages..

For this prize this is an excellent deal... I was a big fan of him when he was rising in Salzburg, he definitely did not set the world on fire in Dortmund, but can still develop and show a lot, especially under Flick...

An exciting and optimistic summer so far for us for sure transfer wize...
