Everyone knows he can strike a ball and is very good facing the opposition with time to pick out a shot.
His best role in this Barca would be Raphs LW or even AM.
But that may be part of signing him if a more phsical CF available in a year and he can be tested there.
Cant see it happening regardless but who knows.

150 mil for him is way too much. 120 mil should be our maximum. However, 120 mil is more the result of current striker situation in the world of football than his real quality. Imagine how much prime Ibra, Suarez, Villa or Eto would cost in today's market.
In the end of the day it's now on him to make a move or he'll stay in ATM for another season.

Who cares if we can fit him into FFP? It's getting pretty obvious he'll be our only buy this summer. We'll buy defenders only if we sell someone and use the FFP space that the sell creates.
I think nothing significant will happen in the next month because of the WC. I'm sure Julian wants to focus only on WC in this time. Argentina plays their last game on 19th of July and after that we can expect the saga to start again.

He doesnt have the pure number 9 instincts. But he's second to none when it comes to striking.
Hoping, if we actually get him, he develops that. But I doubt that will be the case.
He will score so many goals in Flicks Barca without question.
Is he a more lethal striker than Ferran (who has scored a decent amount of goals and almost won the Zarra trophy, only beat by Lamine who had same goal tally in less minutes)?
I think it's clear with his output for Argentina and City that he would easily score or rack up 30-50 G/A per season if injury free and in good chemistry with the offensive players.
Did some digging (love stats, even though they don't convey everything and can be misleading, especially regarding qualitative factors) but his output in goal contributions surprised me.
Take a look at his numbers for the Argentina NT and in the Champions League (mostly games in Cup tournaments where we always desperately lacked goals even from greats like Luisito)
He averages almost 1 goal contribution per 90 minutes played throughout his career across the biggest tournaments (PL, LL, CL, WC and Copa America).
I say go all in for this baller.

His biggest flaw is that he is horrible at selecting clubs where he plays. Firstly he went to City in the moment they signed Haaland so he had to play other positions or come off the bench. After that he chooses terrorist Cholo and his antifootball. If in 2022 he chose Barca, Bayern, QSG or Liverpool those goalscoring stats would look a lot different.
He'd not be prime Suarez but he'd easily get 25 goals in LL and 40 in all competitions for us which is a good return in todays football. Add to that all the asists, linkup and pressing he would bring compared to Lewa and we would have a much better attack then last year.

Gvardiol has not extended. He probably will but for now he still hasn't.
Regarding Alvarez he should speak already. If he remains quiet ATM will not let him go.
