Would you sign Alvarez?

Are we monitoring him close enough?
Deco installed a camera in his toilet and sits all day watching and counting how many times Alvarez takes a shit in order to read his intentions and feelings based on his bowel activity. He needs at least to take a shit 3 times today to show Deco he's still uncomfortable and wants to join us to remain hope.

As a doctor with interests in endocrinology and gastro medicine, I highly enjoy these analytical findings.

BREAKING (winds):

Apparently Julian added more dietary fibers to loosen his stools, so he didn't seem constipated in case that the Atletico board also monitored his shitty situation.

I've been slow to criticize them regarding the striker situation since they had made moves for Adeyemi and Gordon relatively early and quickly, but come on now fellas. You've known Lewa was leaving since the spring, you've known you were open to letting Torres leave and that he only had 1 year left on his contract. How have you only chased Alvarez all summer long when AM have been very clear from the start that they have no intention of selling him to us. Now that Torres is gone, teams know we are desperate and it will be very, very difficult to negotiate any kind of decent deal for a striker.

The Rodri signing will be great, but a world class striker is essential to us competing amongst the best in Europe and for trophies in general. None of our wingers are prolific goalscorers either. Good players, but none of them truly have an eye for goal, including Yamal. Raphinha is likely the best, but he is nowhere remotely close to being what we need at the CF/9 position. A false 9 of some sort COULD work, but we went through all this trouble signing fast, pacey wingers to counter and beat their man..... for what? To not have a monster in front of net to feed?

I hope they know something we don't know, because we are so close to have a really strong, well-rounded squad. It's not perfect, especially the defense, but losing 2 strikers and replacing neither of them with a top-quality player is a step in the wrong direction.

I don't want to hear shit from "Alvarez'entourage" or "Alvarez camp".

Hiding behind the media. Man up and make a public statement.

Yeah, he did way too little for someone bent on exiting.

I don't think we have money for him anyway and this all could be Laporta's pr stunt.

I don't think that's the case or let's assume for a minute the money is there.....they need a deadline and tell him and his agent straight up they need to make a move to force Atletico to the table or else the train is passing by and he can stay there.

This should have been done first week of the transfer window:

Barca: Yo Alcatraz, want to join us?
Alcatraz: Yeah maybe...
Barca: Yo Atletico, you want to sell Alcatraz?
Atletico: No!
Barca: Yo Alcatraz, will you try to force a move?
Alcatraz: Mmm, no.

And we move on!

How much more can you simp for a player that scored 8 goals in LL for one of the best sides and who was meh af at the WC???

What worldclass striker (or elite talent) did we miss out on while waiting for Julian? It's clear he's better than any alternatives we can still sign over next two weeks.
Sure, let's just don't give af about anything until he signs for us or until (much more likely to happen) the window closes while we still "monitor" him

We could need a solid CB if in worst case scenario Cuba gets injured, if Cuba gets injured we can kiss even LL goodbye.
We still haven't landed Cancelo yet, but imo we should have shipped Balde and brought a decent LB in his place.

We need Rodri, a 9 and a defender before the window closes - at least get us 2/3 Deco you fucking wanker!

So that's what @Barcaman meant when he called Deco a mongoloid.
