Yeah back then Barcelona was terrible, everybody knows that. Thank god we had Negreira carrying these bums.

He is a legendary manager but his antics this season will be unbearable. If they win el clasico you won't hear the end of it. He was finished for 10 years and now got a world class team to manage, his ego will go through the roof again if he wins a few games.
 
Carlo was also past it, and somehow revived his career at his second Madrid stint. Hope the same doesn't happen to Mou.

Ancelotti is overrated. I know CL provides the most prestige and it's hard to argue against winning 5. But winning a total of 6 championships over his entire career at so many elite clubs since 1999, managing to lose the title in France with PSG and winning a CL final where you got completely battered but saved by a generational goalkeeper performance and 1 (?) shot on target from your team, reeks of a coach with no clear gameplan who only knows how to motivate superstar individuals in a handful of knockout games and who was at the right place at the right time.

Madrid will be a problem in the league because the frontline can just overwhelm most La Liga teams and collect points but his midfield is now worse than even Xabi-Khedira-Özil was. And even with that he ceded possession to every half decent team. So winning games against Bayern, PSG or Barca with that midfield will require some Zidane level Voodoo magic.
 
I got the same impression on Ancelotti. A lot of truth about his (lame) tradesmanship surfaced during his time in Bayern where half the squad rebelled for the luck of training intensity. Something unheard of.
Basically, it seems that Don Carlo arrives with his entourage to an established club full of superb players...what does he need to do? Just give them a fatherly kiss on the forhead and off they go and play. That's still not nothing but far from being a tactical genius.
I think, those CL wins with Madrid were more about luck than anything else.

Thank god we have Flick. I don't think Mou will get under his skin.

Can't wait for the first crisis Real face this season.
 
Just when you think he toned it down he started ranting about refs again.
Same scenario everywhere. Invent enemies and create us against the world mentality. Sometimes it works but even when it does it's just short term.

Think he is spent and lacks energy and focus to handle Madrid again but it's too early for me to call it yet.

Will be even worse when he loses 3-0 vs Barcelona.

For me he was the sole reason both sets of fans during his 1st tenure were more toxic to each other than usual. Not to mention the brawls and reds.
