Its not La Liga where likes of Atletico can chuck it for months and be certain of top 4 at worst.
Will help Chelsea not playing on Thursday nights. They def played to avoid that in end.

Normally, you have two ways in EPL to make it to a career ending club. Assuming that top players don't wanna play for clubs like Palace, Bournemouth except for the least amount of time possible.
Be very good, very fast, and force a move by 25-26 years old at the latest. Play your cards to be in a position to achieve both, the sooner the better.
Oh, and it's best to not go through clubs like Tottenham, Chelsea, United first. Wait for a bigger fish, and bypass that step.

EPL indeed is brutal for the smaller sides. If you're not truly top level consistently, the mid table swirl drags you down into chaos. You have to be a City level side or better to constantly stay atop.

True. The beef I have against EPL is that Madrid and Barcelona would be like City in it. Would float above the pack, due to the superior quality of players they have, and have had for the majority of the last 3 decades.
They're all imperfect leagues in one way of another.

Why is it so hard to accept that EPL don't really have powerhouse clubs like Madrid, Bayern, and Barcelona. It is a fact, just like the fact that they are beefed up in B level sides.
The competitive factor is super high because of this. Low tops, and high medians and lows. When you had legit top tier teams like Pep's City and Klopp's Liverpool both squashed the competition in EPL.

Other leagues will deteriorate a lot quicker.
EPL is fine and will get bigger and bigger.
The top teams will come and go as being in around CL favs but really Barca, Real and Bayern have the advantage there overall.

Anyone who has played Fantasy Football knows this man cannot be trusted at all. I have lost count of the numbers of times I have captained him at home against weak opposition and he would draw blank after blank, for Brighton and Chelsea.
Anyone who has seen him play will attest to the fact that he is about as bad a one on one finisher as you will see. And those who say he is better at finishing chances than Ferran could not be more wrong.
He is, and never will be, a player for a top team. The Richarlison of a few years ago. A slight, at a push, upgrade on Richy and maybe not even better than Ferran at all, ( who I would fancy to get 15 goals in the English pub league ( as Calvert Kewin has ), fairly comfortably.
This year's Nico, the same will happen with folk wiping their brow in relief that we didn't end up signing him, when they finally realise how mediocre he is.
Though the fact Deco is willing to spend as much as 100m on him is another gutter punch to his credentials as being our Sporting Director.
