Jesse Bisiwu

He should be in the first team squad as his dribbling is already at a high level and he can help us as a substitute late on against tired defenders with his trickery and speed.

Can also play either wing and is good against low blocks.

The reservations about him in the future are his end product, which at present is distinctly mediocre.

But he has the calmness in his dribbling where he doesn't rush or panic with defenders snapping at his heels, that means he will almost certainly be an exceptional dribbler, even at first team level.

Honestly if he is that good at dribbling he could be difference maker this season.

At least in the league because level of La Liga right now is low.

He will have a lot of space, left 1v1 often because of Yamal. He will get his chances. We will see this guy.

Only question how do Adeyemi and Gordon fit in then. But if we rotate everyone smartly, including Yamal, this won't be problem. If we don't then it will.

He hasn't played first team football in Belgium. Don't see how people expect him to be a "difference maker" at Barca.

Everything points to him going directly to the first team. I don't like it, he should at least be registered with the B team so at least we have the option to send him to the B team in case he gets Roony minutes in the first team. Once he gets first team's number you can't do that anymore.

A lot would change if we sell Ferran and don't buy anybody so he could get serious minutes in the first team though.

If he is not at the level then come Jan we can loan him to Lyon like Endrick 😇.

It was probably the condition to get him here.

His presentation has certainly all the first team vibes. Laporta usually only makes the show for senior team players. In the end, it'll depend on Flick of course, but the club clearly sees first team potential in him, otherwise they wouldn't have paid close to 10m. Will be interesting to see if he remains fully in the first team, or takes up a hybrid Atletic - first team role.

For him it would be better to train with the first team and play with Atletic this season. For the simple reason he needs playing time to develop and he can't get it if Rapha, Gordon, Lamine and Adeyemi cover our wing positions.

Of course they will see potential first time future and sell on ability.

That goes without saying.

Whether it is this season.. very unlikely but never know.

Yesterday you said he wouldn't be in First team contention after I said he would.

Let's see what happens.

Don't backtrack now, Highlander.

I dont think he will be next season... but never know.

In cup v lower league dross etc maybe but not counting that much.

Clearly Barca buy players to think they can play first team in future but cant see it this season.

Could be wrong. Who knows.

Nothing has been backtracked on. Dont worry.

What is your prediction for minutes in first team this season?

Jamdav Trying to be on both sides of the argument, covering his bases.. haha

Fake news.

I am saying dont think he will be involved in first team much this season.

Dont care if wrong on that or trying to cover any bases.

Try again.

I don't think Flick has a say in this. Whether he'll be a B player or first team players was agreed when negotiating the contract. I'm sure all the agents, parents and the player himself want to go directly to the first team because that's easier than competing with La Masia players, it's prestige to be in our first team and probably even the money is better but they are not doing themselves any favor. I remember Roony's case was similar, he insisted to be first team player and look what that got him. Otherwise I totally agree with this post.

If Alvarez doesn't come and Ferran leaves than it's ok because there will be minutes on the wing while Adeyemi and Gordon will be strikers.

I see Flick preferring Bisiwu to Roony on the right.

I can see us finishing League games, before big Cup games, that are already won, with :

Gordon, Adeyimi and Bisiwu as our front 3.

Roony isnt even a consideration dont think and will leave.

Outwith him still now have 4 wide players and others like Fermin who have played there before.

There could be Tunkara for minutes also.

Watched him a bit on youtube and don’t see it honestly. Run of the mill youth talent that lacks the certain spark.

I am sure our scouts have more of a clue though.
