He is arguably the best player on the planet but we know they don't give out prizes for that.
He is the most likely opponent to Kane winning Bdor but I don't think his case is as clear as it was in 24/25.

Also, he was a crucial contribution to Barca's winning La Liga this year.

People like to give Kane crap for scoring goals in Germany (despite him also winning or competing for the Golden Boot in the PL for the best part of 10 years) and yet I don’t recall Lewandowski getting too much shit about it when he played in Germany for most of his career.
If Kane won the Balon D he would deserve it. But he faded at the World Cup as he was overplayed by Tuchel, which people will recall, and despite England finishing 3rd a lot of people will only remember the England loss to Argentina where they bottled it.

Think Kane getting it would be good compromise decision in these circumstances. Let it be his "lifetime achievement award" for all the fish he gave. He's also likeable character for most part, apart of his diving, which English dudes really love, despite bragging how they're opposite of this vice.
The young and not so young cocky gangztas should get the middle finger in principle. Just shut your stupid mouths and do your job. Maybe you'll earn it some day.

That's why so likeable. To both of them. It seems only white nordics can be humble and restrained. Whenever swarthy people appear, they always need to assert themselves with lots of words, bragging and pompous behavior instead of confining themselves into proving their worth entirely through deeds or "fruits" as it says in the Bible. Not to say that there aren't great people among the swarthy ones, but them running their mouth just somehow always rubs you the wrong way and it's just too consistent. Just shut the fuck, do your diligence and people will see your worth without bragging.
I’ve always believed players should only play for their country of birth since I first got into football. As they could 100% play together, in another universe, it would mean that Kane, Haaland, Olise and Bellingham are England’s front 4, with Gordon, Palmer, Saka and Rogers in reserve.

That's fine, but there should be additional qualifier - only native people should be born in their native lands, while continuing their ethnic kin. No foreigners should be birthed there in the first place and if they, for some reason are, they should never be accepted as natives.
