Hansi Flick

Agree that for a good offer I'd sell any of Kounde, Balde, Fermin. But it has to be good. For other players, I don't even mention selling them because no serious club would ever be tempted to spend good money on them.

And please, Olmo has his issues, but he had a partidazo compared to Fermin. He's a far more creative player.

But we're not in any panic to sell under what should be quite juicy offers for any of these 3 players.
Teams will offer good money for those and also for our other players, we are just very allergic to selling our players, especially La Masia players/established players. It's more that we don't consider selling good players, rather than there being no interest. We only try to sell our discards, which obviously is harder, teams are less likely to want them.

And I don't see any reason it will change in the upcoming window, the current board seem to make it clear that they really don't want to sell players except for our discards.

I am of the view that almost any player has a price, especially when we have such big holes to fill that we can't do without greater funding. We aren't in a position to consider players like Fermin, Olmo, Balde etc as untouchable. If we can sell a player who is not crucial to the squad, whilst filling a much bigger hole, we have to do that.

I’ve seen a lot of complaints about Mr. Flick, but I disagree.
He’s doing a great job and we’re actually playing really good football. Hopefully the club ignores the noise and keeps building this young team.
When it comes to the Champions League, you need a bit of luck and your star players available (Raphinha, FDJ).
We’ve been very unlucky with the results, but the football has always been entertaining.
I was literally screaming at my TV yesterday, the best team over both legs got eliminated. But that’s football.
And all of this without money, while other teams can go full force in the UCL since they’re playing in mickey mouse leagues (PSG, Bayern).

Obviously, if we don't get offer for a player, we won't sell. However, the willingness is a bigger issue.

Even the likes of Coutinho and Griezmann got us 25M+ each, when they were shit and overpaid. Pau Victor was sold for 12M.

There is a market for most, just let agents know they will have to look for new home for their players.

Look at Atletico, 100M lower salary cap than us, but they know when to sell for most part and it gives them market flexibility.

For the record, our strategy isn't bad in itself, it is actually good. But it became a bit too rigid

I don't think it's unreasonable to expect us to deliver in CL against teams which are weaker than us. He came off looking quite clueless vs Inter and now AM. You take the good of Flick, with the bad, and you move on. It's like that.

At the end of the day he will deliver another successful season in a few weeks. So, the good outweighs the bad.
What is it that makes you say Flick came off looking clueless in the AM tie?

We dominated the first leg until the red (and a great deal after it). We dominated most of the second leg and then got another red. We missed a lot of easy chances

It us crazy that people are asking for Flicks head. Crazy. No finances, injuries galore, useless defence, biased fucking refs and VAR and we still went down fighting.
I hope he leaves this season and we get a Spanish mickey mouse manager or a barca dna type .

I like Sergh but that take was really terrible. Also vs Inter Barca was the better team but very unlucky + individual defence mistakes. Clueless sounds like we lost with 3-4 goals difference.

Without red card OR with Raphi im sure Barca wins the tie vs Atletico. Hansi is doing a tremendous job at Barca

Why do you hope for that? Because of few people asking his head?

Vast majority of fans support Flick and appreciate what he's accomplished with the team.

Because there are many who don't appreciate him. Let's go back to a Setien or Valverde and than we'll see this team's true level.
Even Lucho would struggle with this squad. Having the luxury of a packed, deep squad makes him look better than he is.

Over the two games against Atletico Barca created 9 big chances as opposed to Atletico’s 3, in terms of xG, it’s 3,32 for us and 2,21 for them.

Far from a perfect tie from Flick but saying he looked clueless is just stretching the definition.

These things happen.

How many of them were thanks to Lamine Yamal best player in the world whos efforts were wasted again thanks to comedy defending?

It does not matter if can tell yamal is already tired of these tactics once hes had enough this man is gone and we can do back to winning in Europe again

I think the 'looked clueless' part is amplified by the fact we got dumped in same fashion from the Copa deli Rey.

I wouldn't say he looked clueless, but Simeone clearly read him perfectly and adjusted his tactics, compared to last season. And Lookman was a great differentiator for them.

Results wise we probably would have been at the same level as Xavi was, in the league. With shittier football.
Lamine exploding has helped Flick's game very much.

How did Simeone adjust his tactics??

Bring your lover Lucho back and let's see how he does. Oh wait. Lucho would want 150 million minimum to rebuild the squad. No big manager is touching this club with the current financial situation.

This fool actually thinks Flick is a better manager than Luis Enrique.
GEt your head checked.
Give them both the same squad, Lucho will still do 20 times better.
Flicks done well in the league, but Lucho is a level above.

Did you see Luchos spain? Overperformed with that garbage squad. That was without the best player in the world. YAMAL.

I dont think Xavis would have same el clasico results like Hansi but have to say even if his football was crap results wise he wasnt bad
