If he wins Laliga again we need to build statue for this man at new camp. Forget messi. He is not backed at all by the club in terms of recruitment.

We have a team capable of winning the league, but tbf, this year Madrid has a better squad, even if they have some area of weaknesses.
If he wins the league, for 3rd consecutive time, he is a coaching legend for us. We only won La liga 3 consecutive times twice. Most recent with Pep (2009, 10 & 11) and when we won 4 consecutive times with Crujif (1991, 92, 93 & 94).

Don't think Madrid have a better squad, or arguable anyway since we have better first 11, but I agree that winning 3 leagues in a row is mighty impressive.
However, for me, losing for the third time in a row vs an inferior side in CL in similar fashion, repeating the same errors, just can't happen.

I accept Inter as a freak accident, and imo if we have Raphinha vs AM we dispatch them without much problems, but this time I'm not having any of that. Ample time to get things in order, got players he likes in offense to implement his pressing tactics, got rid of the old guy slowing us down... added the best DM in the world, no excuses this time.
I don't think we are huge favorites to win the thing, I can accept going down to PSG, even Arsenal or Bayern after hard fought ties, but teams like Inter or AM, no way. We should be past that.
I have it as 1) PSG, 2) Arsenal, and us on 3rd or 4th, interchangeably with Bayern, nothing between us and Bayern imo. Although I'd have us just slightly ahead.
We should be beating likes of Madrid, City, Liverpool, AM, Inter, or whoever is left as a noteworthy challenger.

Let's not get things twisted. Just because he doesn't speak out and tows the line don't think that he doesn't want more players. He has been diplomatic here from Day 1, but he is not stupid.
The Sporting Department have let him down and left him short. No striker, ( I'm not even gonna count a guy who is injured all the time ). No Plan B attacker despite an obvious one ( Espi ) staring them in the face.
No centre back despite Romero being available for peanuts and Murillo easily gettable from a small EPL club.
But perhaps the worst of all is no new right back with Jules stinking up the place as early as yesterday and not one, but TWO great right backs ( Munoz and Doue ) available on low wages and low fees ( 20m and 35m respectively. ). The signing of which could have enabled Eric to effectively be our 'new' centre back, rather than our new emergency right back.

Well, no worries, all these failures are covered up with media briefings saying "Flick didn't want ___(insert x squad need here) ____!"
We had a big chance to qualitatively improve the squad at the two biggest positions of need (striker and defense) and we did not do that. The main addition we made was Rodri, which was also quite necessary with the injury of Frenkie.

We have less chance of keeping him and Yamal fit if we don't have enough attackers for the rotation.
Currently the drop off between him and the next striker is quite significant. Gordon or Adeyemi are not close to his standard as goalscorers.
That's really why we needed a striker to take the load off him especially and keep him fit for the most important ties, but the way it is now, we are hoping Jesus will be available...
A couple injuries and we could be in serious trouble. We hope that Jesus will stay fit because it really is very important.

Dude won all 57 points at Camp Nou last season.
Probably only Enrique has a better overall percentage. And its marginal.
Barca gonna reach final minimum this year. Its in Madrid.

As the most neutral fan in the world, I was gutted when Inter beat Barca in 2010. Happy for Inter and Zanetti though. And yes, I think it wasnt a handball on Bojan.
Imagine Barca beating Bayern at Santiago Bernabeu.
IIRC, Ajax is the only team to win CL at rival ground.
This year that will change. Either Barca or Real breaks the curse.

The ‘apparent’ handball was on Yaya Toure not on Bojan, but yeah it was not handball and it is a shame they counted it as one. We should’ve done more in the tie though we had a good enough team to not be complaining about refereeing decisions.

Cuba - 4.7k min last year + 180min now.
Eric - 4k min + 170min
Yamal - 4.3k min + 245min
It is imperative for Hansi to keep Cuba, Eric & Yamal healthy. With such high minutes played by all three last season, there is a high chance of them getting injured this season.
Cuba is literally the glue that's holding the backline. We might even survive an injured Yamal, but I am not sure that, with how thin we are at the back, we will be able to salvage anything if Cuba gets injured.
Winning any trophy this season will depend if these three are fit and firing during March - May.
