Such a shame he got injured few months ago immediately after scoring that banger goal. He seemed to be on the verge of a breakout season.

He has the talent to be a decent backup for us. It all depends on Hansi.

Though I am hoping the rumours of Inter being interested in him are true. Might be the best for both parties.
 
Since it was a dry loan, player's future is dictated by Hansi & Barça. We'll see if the rumors of his link to a Bastoni deal have any truth but at a minimum he would get a chance in pre-season to show what he could add to the team. But if he were to go back out on loan should it not work out only at 19 then I doubt it would be back to Elche but a more competitive club or setup where a buyback would have to be included
 
Another loan might be better. If Elche want him back and promise to start him, he should go back there.

At the moment it's still hard to make any concrete decision on his future, he is still raw and needs to play much more.
 
Relegation battle is brutal though. Too early to talk about the loan until the end of Sunday at least, when we get more clarity about Elche future. I hope they stay and he gets to continue there for another year.
 
No rumours about Fort leaving again, so perhaps Flick is willing to give him another chance after his semi-succesful loan spell? I honestly hope so.
 
I mean, our RB situation is dire. People talk about needing a striker and a CB, but RB is low-key the most dire position for us right now.

There’s Kounde and Eric who covered there a lot last season.

Not that I’m happy with it, but we’re not going for another RB unless Kounde leaves and it’s highly unlikely he’d agree to.

No point in another loan. Sell him with a buy back/sell on clause or keep him. Probably the first one, especially if Flick likes Espart more, which it seems he does.
