I think he was probably better at 16 than he's now at almost 18. His cousin Toni has developed better over this time.

It's very likely Guille has decided to leave this summer and club already knows about his decision and that is one of the reasons he's not playing much though OTOH Belletti is starting Victor Barbera lately and he's also set to leave. According to reports he already signed contract with Valladolid but it's true Delgado is also only here on loan and likely won't stay beyond this season so from developing perspective doesn't really matter which one of them plays.

But it's known in the youth setup, he just had a tough season or two with the B team
 
Would have preferred he went to Porto last year but we wouldn't have the same amount of control if he went there.

But his pure talent is of that level imo and continue from there
 
He hasnt been great since moved to Atletic side.

Decision making is poor and plays with head down too much.

Probably trying to repeat what caused the jump by getting out of Barca for a bit.

Physically not as dominant as was in younger categories either and caught up on him a bit.

RCD Mallorca will pay between €3m - €5m for the transfer of Guille Fernández. FC Barcelona will also maintain 50% of the player's rights, in addition to a buy back option. [@scapde_45]
 
So a standard sale, good stuff.

Hopefully he can establish himself in Segunda playing alongside Pablo Torre and Mallorca will return to La Liga. They have four experienced CMs (Darder, Morlanes, Antonio Sanchez and Alex Sala who is loaned from Lecce and started the season well) in front of him and unless they plan to sell one of them today he'll have good competition for minutes. Could ofc potentially also play in the Pablo Torre position.

That's exactly what we are doing with all recent sales of La Masia kids.
