Never liked the player or his attitude. So whilst I'm glad Barca is making some revenue from his sale, I hate how the buyer is QSG. Since QSI took over, they have always managed to land Barca players they have been interested in (Maxwell, Neymar, Dembélé, Dro, Ferran).. whereas they have successfully thwarted any interest of ours in their star players (T. Silva, Marquinhos, Verratti). Such a unidirectional transfer dealings will only embolden them to continue to tap our star players. Not long before they intensify their pursuit of Lamine (they have tried once, and we know they will come again).
 
There's no HERE WE GO in that department, so I believe it's Julian Alcatraz or die. Die meaning Gordon and Adeyemi are our new 9's.
 
According to Capology, since last season we’ve reduced our fixed wages by 63.5 million: Lewandowski 20.8m, Ter Stegen 1.5m, Rashford 14m, Araujo 12.5m, Ferran €10m, and Fati €4.7m (he was on €14m).
We’re currently at 191 million, compared to 234 million last season. That leaves 43 million to make up to match last season. Not bad.
 
His chances to win CL with PSG are higher and he'll earn more.
I'm not mad as the transfer fee is decent. More decent than it was with Dembele given the players abilities.
 
This transfer is starting to look like when we signed ALFONSOOOOOOOOO after the winner he scored against Yugoslavia in 2000.

I like the lad and wish the best, but if he has a good season I will be surprised.

The bar for a "good season" for him is very low. So who knows

He scored 21 goals, 3 of them in Champions League, last season. And a lot of people call it a good season

If he can rack up some goals in Ligue 1 Parisians will probably be satisfied

So what. Plenty od nobodies who rode the bench won CL. Children keep obsessing with this.

True, but in his head he won't care about that.

This guy has already won everything with Spain, from rather meaningless Nations League to Euros to World Cup.

On top of that he is a millionaire and will earn even more with PSG. Maybe even starting a modeling career now that he moves to Paris.

I mean, this guy joined the club when Barça was in a bad situation, scored a couple of goals and now leaves with Barça making a win in the books both on earnings as well on savings side. (I know that he cost more when joining from City, but this part is not relevant anymore in accounting). Need more of these transfers with players giving the club decent service and leaving for good money rather than riding the bench earning millions doing so until their contract runs out.
