Waited for Rodri to be done. Now I think this is a fair discussion.

I am talking simply about the names. PSG has an elite midfield but bar Vitinha, Neves and Ruiz it ain't really that elite.

We have Pedri, Rodri, Frenkie, Gavi, Olmo, Fermin, Bernal.

Absolutely insane midfield on paper. We'll see how it works in real games.

Individually, yes.

But midfield success is very dependent on fullbacks and wingers closing the gaps and helping in pressing. PSG has advantage in that due to Hakimi and Mendes

I hope people vote. I mainly created this thread because I know this is more or less common knowledge right now. That's why it's important people don't distort it later on and say our midfield is not that good

PSG were better midfield than us IMO before Rodri

Now with Rodri, we have better starting trio (Rodri, Pedri, Olmo), and better depth (Bernal, Gavi, Fermin, De Jong)

Absolutely.

But when you have so many elite options, and a world class manager that is Flick.. it is to be expected he will find the right formula and make a fantastic midfield with these players.

There is a lot of options. With Olmo, with Fermin. Frenkie, Rodri and Pedri together.

With Alvarez, we’d probably have the best attack as well, but our defense probably wouldn’t even be in the top 10.

We are talking individually of course we have to see how it all works in the game
 
When it comes to depth I think we 100% have the best Midfield in the world.

Starting XI not ready to say that yet even with rodri, but we should have it.
 
No. We failed to sign Bernardo Silva and got a bum called Rodrigo Cascante. Who the fuck is that even?
 
I don't know, but what I do know is that someone has to put that PSG midfield in its place.

Comparing Vitinha and Neves to Xavi and Iniesta, just because they won back to back UCLs is some of the most disgusting disrespect I've seen about some of our legends.
 
Until proven otherwise it's still PSGs.

It's about individuals

Same way RM has best attack in the world... but only on paper

We will see if it works in real games. Today Pedri and Rodri start first game together on club level
