Diego Armando Maradona

Saw highlights of the 1983 Copa final Vs Madrid in Zaragoza. Look at Maradona and the fouls he had to suffer and the pitches he had to play on. How can anybody say Maradona flopped for Barca?

Incidentally, Madrid only received one yellow card in the game. Camacho should have received a second yellow at 4.22. And Diego scored a wonderful header which was disallowed for absolutely no reason whatsoever.

Nowadays football rules make this sport stride to effeminacy. It used to be that a foul equaled to a real physical harm and it was ok to play with a bloody nose. These muscular men are too often down and fake crying like someone broke their bones.
Or that guy who got the red because he covered his mouth and it might have meant that he was talking shit to the other team player. Lol.

That's why one must appreciate the greatness of Maradona because his style of play in that era was a miracle in itself.
