Players we should consider selling: One of Fermin/Olmo, doesn't really matter who because both have their flaws. Kounde and Balde. Casado. Then of course Araujo, Ter Stegen and others
And players I would think about selling if we get a good offer: Ferran, Raphinha, Gerard Martin, Roony
Last summer we sold nobody. Summer before that also. If we want to become competent in the market again we gotta start selling. Dembele was last big name sale

If we sell Raphinha without us signing at least a Luis Diaz in his place we are done for 2-3 seasons.
Before even contemplating selling the player with the biggest end product in big games, you first have to worry about replacing him. Raphinha is not a player you sell and figure things out later.
So, names. Who do we get before selling him. There is simply no one even close to his workrate and end product vs big teams.
The club isn't going to make this error. Even if you get 100m for him, 100m means nothing if you can't bring in an elite LW. What does elite means? It means 1.5 goals and assists per every knockout game played in CL and impeccable workrate. Good luck replacing that on this market.
Lamine and Raph aren't moving anywhere, would be far too costly for the team to even risk something like that. The team has absolutely no issues offensively, even Ferran delivers well. All of our focus should be on defensive signings. And a plan B striker if something good pops up.

We didn't really do anything if we buy Sorloth as our striker signingDeco has to sign:

- Then a decent enough ST. Sorloth or something along those lines, 20-40m.
- And either Rashford on far cheaper wages & around 20m to ManU, or another LW. Abde, Schjelderup. Or Nusa if we can spend.

He is a player who is very weak technically and is not that fast, he is good at heading the ball and commands the box. So in every sense, he is almost identical to current Lewa. Then maybe it's better to just keep the Pole

Hence he has the legs to do what Lewa cant. He is a box presence that Lewa isnt anymore. Sorloth scores about 20 goals a season, playing as a sub for a "not so attacking" team. And will cost around 30-40m.
Give me another striker who can do all these, has the history to back up, and will cost 30m? Sorloth is the only one that came to my mind, if you have one, give an example, since I said "Sorloth or something along those lines, 20-40m"

Sorloth is 30 and Atletico will demand a few north of 30M for him.
I am not sure he is worth that. His legs will be gone in a couple of years most likely.

Sorloth is not worth it. Rashford is not worth it. Cancelo is worth it but not as a sure starter. Balde, Fermin, Olmo, Kounde, we can listen offers for. Need to look at City players that are moving. Ake, Bernardo, Rodri. These are some of the best options for adding elite experience, players who are used to playing vs seasoned teams and strong opponents. There are injury, age concerns with all 3, but there is always a risk, and we have no choice but to take it.
Forget about LW back-up. We signed one, gave him a big wage, only to use a midfielder off position as a Raphinha substitute in the biggest game. We signed Rashford for what? Some goals vs Olympiakos, Elche and the likes?
One of Fermin and Olmo can cover LW just fine if injuries hit again at the worst time.
