Though we should never put ourselves in competition with a mediocre club like Atleti, the ultimate ' Finish Him ' move would be to drop the Alvarez signing and use the money to buy their top 2 targets ( Osi and Cuti ) .

Would totally finish them off for the foreseeable.

He's elite on his day but was also inconsistent for Spurs. Not surprising he does better when he can make a dozen bookable challenges before getting a yellow.

Argentina defense wasn't really that good, there was a reason there games was all close in KO. He was part of that.

Even in their campaign in 2022, their defense suffered a lot.

Argentina also played slow as molasses. When Cuti was under a bit of pressure he played like a drunk.

I'd let him go to Atleti and shithouse it up rather than spend 40m +.

Put some of that money towards Salinas if you believe he is the real deal. A decent LaLiga season and he is worth double that.

Because the refs were pretty soft with Argentina. Imagine LaLiga refs, who hate Barca. He'll get send off every third game.
