Second goal was hilarious and sooo unnecessary. Gerard Martin proved what he is there, a back up CB at best who is questionable in that role too, will be bullied by every serious striker and even random guys like Sorloth who don't really have a clue on how to play football but are strong. Joan should have probably saved it too
The only thing we should hope for is that next season Cubarsi and Martin will learn the view from the bench.

Every single year we get some kind of brain infecting virus that ensures our CBs play like absolute mountain trolls and get sent off. It was getting tiresome earlier, now I just feel numb.
Losing is one thing but doing the same stupid thing every single year...I have no words.

The funny thing about when Musso passed the ball to Koke in their box and he just literally picked it up with his hands, is how passive the whole team, the whole stadium was in reacting to that.
There was a little "booo" from the stands and that's it. In a situation when we are. a man down and desperately need a goal. If that was Madrid they would run after the referee and not let him breathe until they check the VAR and Bernabeu would boo whole match.
This is the difference in disciplines of course. They are pieces of shit we aren't. But in moments like this it shows and that's why Madrid has 10 more CL titles.
As silly as it was according to the rules that was a red for Koke and pen for Barca, which probably turns the whole tie upside down.
But this is too much for me. I just hope we do something on Metropolitano but I don't have too much hopes. They may as well get a red card again.

Was no doubt a pen for hand ball. The ball appeared to be still and the keeper passed to the player to initiate possession. The ref fecked up the match also. 2nd yellow for Koke would have been harsh for that, but seen plenty given. Red is questionable also on replay, but probably still probably right.

Yeah also saw now that Club Brugge got a pen vs Aston Villa in UCL for this same thing.. so it's not exactly some obscure rule either that nobody ever follows. Even if it is, it's in the books so it has to be practiced.
Least club can do right now is file a complaint and hope that ref gets some punishment for such low awareness in a big game. These things decide seasons for clubs just because he wasn't focused and didn't even acknowledge what happened. But like I said part of the blame there goes to the environment for not pressuring him up for it. If we had experienced players maybe they would say the next moment ball is out of play 'ref please take a look at that'

All I can say is, we are better than them but what is Barça without sabotaging themselves in Europe. If we didn’t stop sabotaging ourselves, there’s no doubt in my mind we would at least have 8 European Cups instead of 5. Not that optimistic for the 2nd leg but who knows. Maybe it can happen.
I think it’s more important to note we are missing the two out of our top 4 players in the team (Raphinha and FDJ). Raphinha is so important for the press and creating space for attackers. FDJ has done a wonderful job covering Pedri, who looks completely lost without him.
Without these two and our bone headed defense, I honestly think we would be very fortunate to make CL semis

The 4-0 Imo, look we were bad but it was extremely exaggerated that they destroyed us. Proven by the fact, prior to today, we won them 3/4 times and only that fluke game was the only win they had. Today ofc a red card sabotaged us from winning as we were the better team when it was 11v11. Now I don’t want to excuse but the red card basically killed off the game for us today. Hopefully we do something honourable in the 2nd leg.
