Champions League 25/26

This was probably one of the most boring and underwhelming CL seasons in the last 20 years. I hate to admit it, but peak RM and City made the CL really entertaining from 2016 to 2024.

Yep it was a shit season

Only game I genuinely enjoyed was PSG-Bayern first leg

Not too many surprises either. Maybe only Atletico eliminating Barca

First time since Liverpool - Real Madrid 2018 that both teams scored in a final.

Last time both didnt score before that was Bayern - Internazionale 2010.
That's why for me it was a good final

Arsenal style of play probably made it a little boring but it was still better than all of those 1-0 wins since the 2018 final.. and the Inter smashing last year

First time in ages we had a truly competitive CL final. Details decided in the end and Arsenal could have won it just as well

Those four 1-0 games, that should also qualify.

I just dont like the fact they had like 25% possession and barely any chances.

Defending was immense from goal to end of 1st half.

I think it was a penalty on Noni Madueke but PSG deserved to win in the end.

UEFA needs to penalize PSG if they pull off the pussy stunts again with delaying Ligue 1 matches. It is absolutely insane how they're getting away with having quadruple the amount of rest than EPL and LL teams.

If this happened here in the states, it would be all over ESPN

It's not only PSG that do it. And realistically is not UEFAs business how national football leagues manage their schedule.

Mind yo own business

Yous were silent when claiming France being a weak league meant PSG never ready for the knockouts and will never win champions league.

Y the whites got their panties in a twist, guess they getting burnt coz it’s summer and the suns out

There was a pen in the first half not given to PSG.

Referee seemed to have been given a word half time as he was swinging his Arse first half.

True but 2 wrongs dont make a right an' all that.

I thought it was a pen to Arsenal live but the replays it looked like Arsenal played for it and held Nuno's arm.

I think it would have gone to VAR and been cancelled even if ref gave it.

Arsenal can't complain too much. Mosquera should have been given a second yellow on the pen. Clear tackle to the upper legs from behind.

The better team won, in the end. Would be gargantuan feat if they retained it again.

I know what peoples thoughts are on their owners, fans and "fake" teams in general, but I have nothing against their football.

Arsenal defense was huge in first half. But you just cant have 25% possession in a final.
