Champions League 25/26

Was posted twice already, old news

But genius old news lol.

Okay pep if he takes a break to reset and klopp if he comes back after his break is on lucho level right now.

Since none of these things are likey to happen, he's number 1.

The fact that he binned his keeper that won him the CL. Signed another one who wasn't good enough and is using is back up to likey win the CL back to back.

Nice

Will be another boring ucl final but it wont be as clear as last season when PSG looked unbeatable

Still think Pool is the team which should have stopped them last season, they won in Paris 1-0 and then bottled return leg, that win gave them the confidence to win 2 cls in a row

The sight of Cules supporting QSG is more disturbing to me than a Lily Philips video. The team and club whose supporters chant Puta Barca before they brush their teeth, who like to propogate the Uefalona myth with a holier than thou attitude whilst their club president sits on the board of Uefa getting Ceferin to pull all the strings to help his team win.

And that's not before getting into the fact they have had a personal vendetta against Barca in the transfer market for years, stealing our players from the senior and youth teams with their corrupt petro dollars as the only carrot.

Of course Arsenal's football disgusts me as well, but there no chance I will want or hope for anything good to happen to that Qatari oil club, no matter how much they ' entertain ' on the football field.

missed u bro. Welcome back to forums

Betis in CL should be nice. Maybe they can even do something

I don't expect too much from them resultswise but hopefully CL money will help them sign a few players (especially a striker and defenders) without having to sell likes of Natan and Abde (unless they get something like 40m then they should sell both). They have the oldest team on average in La Liga and need to bring fresh blood but doubt it will happen until Pellegrini is there. Or they might sign some younger players but he won't use/develop them.

I do expect a much better CL campaign from Villarreal though especially seeing what Inigo Perez (who is supposed to take them over) has done with Rayo. But ofc he'll have to prove he can do it on a higher level and team will probably need some time to adapt to his system.

The last 4 has just been picking between the lesser of 4 evils.

Atleti
Arsenal
PSG
Bayern ( fuck Bayern hate those fuckers).

This. Bayern and Arsenal were long time on my top 3 most hated clubs though these days I mostly dislike Arsenal because of Arteta. They do have players like Gyok, Merino and Zubi whom I like. If they would get a coach like Xavi or Cesc would probably even start to like them.

And OTOH Bayern is also not as unlikeable since Lewa (lol) and Muller left but still hard to root for them.

Suddenly we are lions again, aye? We would have probably terrorised them with Ferran Torres.
Get a grip lad, that front three of theirs would have scored 10 goals over two legs against current Barca.
That front three scored shit last season, do better. If they woukd ship 10 we would ship 14. Stfu

I agree with Messi especially about Villarreal hopefully they take the competition seriously next season.

It will be a massive help to betis especially with them probably trying to be more financially responsible due to building the new stadium

That was genious by Lucho. Also if that ball somehow ends at Kvara's feet after throw in, it's always dangerous.
Was this confirmed or is it just someone on Twitter joining the dots?

Because it doesn't make sense. It makes sense if you are going to lose the ball anyway. But why would you give it back when you have it (goal kick?)

It's been confirmed.

The tactic makes when you think about it.

Because this way you steal it closer to opponents goal

Or at least you block their chances to go forward and make keeping the ball instead of pushing forward the priority for them

Which is what PSG did in that game. And that's how they delivered a defensive masterclass. They didn't even sit that deep, it was a coordinated and smart pressing all over the pitch

Bayern really had no idea how to attack
