We have two big things to correct next season if we want to stop playing "we would'ves".
Manage the minutes of the key players by rotating more often and smarter. Improve the defense both tactically and in terms of personnel. If we don't do that, we ain't reaching the top under Flick.
Raphinha was not playing every minute in games available this season and players are resting their bodies when injured also.
He played 4700 mins last season, an insane amount.
Xavi won us the title playing shit football but next season already joke is over, now you have to start giving us something to watch. He tried adapting but eventually it didn't work and he was sackedXavi played even worse football but thankfully we are not small minded club like Arsenal and don't keep barren managers going for years without big title.
He wasnt knackered this season because of it and was being rotated/taken off early this season.
Also La Liga is nowhere near as intense as likes of EPL. Far lower tempo games more often. Can be a positive and a negative.
Please... and then you have him coming from injury, with infiltrations vs Madrid in Supercup, and next you play him vs Santander who is 3rd division side in Copa. Crazy. The way Flick approaches these things, if the player is fit, and he wants to play, he can play even in the most minor games.
No long term planning. You are the manager ffs, you should think long term. The players can't.
He has been taken off rotated plenty this season when fit.

Salah for example went season upon season playing 4K minutes in far more demanding league.
Then you tell me why he suffered 3 muscular injuries this season. Since you seem to think the huge load of games he played last season is irrelevant.
Salah has a completely different style to Raphinha. He's more on the ball creator. Raphinha is a player who makes many runs and sprints at full power during the game.
For this reason, you either adapt and use a different style in lesser games, and go full on in the bigger games, or you rotate him more. Not rotate him by way of him getting injured btw.
Ya I read some posts here and I’m quite literally amazed how little regard there is for the back 4. Pique-Puyol, Pique-Mascherano, Puyol—Marquez, these were all solid and experienced CB pairings. Riijkard, Pep or Lucho didn’t call up some Barca B players for the CL KO stagesEveryone wants to win the CL, but at this level no team plays with a pair made of a 19 year old kid and a player who nobody knew who he was 2 years ago brought from Barca B. And you want to win the CL.
Just not good enough. And on top of them not being great, you also add more weight on them by super risky tactics.
What Flick has to understand is you don't need to go high press vs likes of Oviedo and Elche to beat them.
Barca as a team dont look tired.
Puyol and Mascherano were absolutely key in those pairings. Kept things together at the back and both made Pique perform on the world class level.Ya I read some posts here and I’m quite literally amazed how little regard there is for the back 4.
